These get really good reviews and at £38 delivered are loads cheaper than anywhere else- available in black and red.

Good sizes available - I am gonna end up divorced if I carry on with all these trainers, but lost faith in my Brooks.

10 reasons to buy
  • Most of the reviewers valued the comfort of the Prism v2.
  • The stability is noticeable without being intrusive, according to several runners.
  • It is more breathable than the original model, based on the comments of a handful of testers.
  • The toe box gets a little more room with the removal of the forefoot/toe box overlays.
  • A few experts appreciated the softer heel, which does not compromise the secure fit of the rear section.
  • It comes in multiple color options.
  • New Balance continues to offer wide widths for the Vazee Prism v2.
  • The price is less compared to some of its competitors.
  • It rides a bit softer, which a handful considered as an improvement over the stiff ride of the earlier version.
  • Some runners have used it for gym workouts because of the lightweight support.

2 reasons not to buy

  • It is noticeably heavier than the original model, according to a handful of reviewers.
  • The midsole foam lacks the responsiveness of many of its competitors, according to a few runners.

Bottom line

The 2nd instalment of the Prism continues to provide the only stability option in New Balance’s Vazee collection of shoes. It is a shoe that still performs a little faster despite the added bulk. Additionally, it becomes a more viable option for those who require lightweight stability when running in half or full marathons. With a very reasonable price tag, the shoe is an excellent value for the money choice for many runners.

Great find. Usually a Nike Lunarglide man but heard good things about these and at this price will give them a whirl. Thank you for sharing. Heat added

Heat, look great for the price, ordered!

You forgot one reason to buy, made in the UK or US.

Good deal on a good shoe for those who need a bit of stability.

This is what these shoes will look like in front of some art (not mine, spotted on ebay )

I use NB Vazee Rush V2 as my main road running shoe (second pair almost needing retired and got pair no 3 sitting in a box waiting to use), also got a pair of Vazee Pace V2’s. These Prisms are very similar so a very good shoe for £38.

Question is I already have 3 new pairs of shoes sitting in boxes but do I make it 4???

Ordered. Thanks OP. Don't forget Quidco or TCB for a few percent cashback.

Thanks OP, ordered these yesterday. Looks like they are all OOS now.

I'm an overpronator. Decent stability shoes are always at a premium. I've ordered a pair of these - let's hope they fit well and I don't have to return them.

Those NB Vazees look more neutral than stability running shoes.

Why do I always do this wait till they are OOS before I try to buy =(

Had my order (placed yesterday evening) cancelled via email a short while ago, apparently a problem with a 'systems upgrade' ... not clear whether it was never in stock or just if it will be available later

My order was cancelled and my money refunded. Today I get an email that my order is now being packed for shipment and my card has been debited.

Not a great deal of confidence in this company. Make your mind up!
