Incredible. An entire app for just Squats. I suppose they have a separate app for Press Ups, Sit ups, lunges, pull ups... Etc too?

I mean, who needs a single app for exercising, with a single navigation menu between different exercises? When you can just split it up into a dozen seperate apps, one for each exercise!

Voted hot ofc - judging it purely as a deal, but these kind of things just really annoy me.

Just do some squats. They are free

Still £1.99

I think you must have clicked on the Runtastic Squits app by mistake.
The Squats app is showing as free. The £1.99 price has a line through it.

Downloaded thanks

Yeah, these Runtastic apps are utterly useless. You're also strongly encouraged to become part of their ecosystem and to subscribe to expensive subscriptions with little added benefit.

In case anyone ones a customisable and versatile, yet a little dated looking option to keep track of all sorts of physical activity, have a look at the free FitNotes for Android. It has loads of statistics/graphs as well. It doesn't tell you what to do next (except for linear progression), but it's a great tracking app, hence I mentioned it here.

Allow squats pro to access your contacts......? What? Why? No thanks. There is no reason for this app to access my contacts. Uninstalling that pos straight away and I'll go back to counting my own lol!

Damn.. voted hot... thought it said rumtastic

Seems like a bit of a crap app. They have an actual running app, which tracks where you run and compares times ect which is quite nice, but this app takes the p!$$ I think. Wouldn't pay £2.

Just do some squats. They are free

Heat for free but how can they charge for this in the first place?? An app to just track squats???

Seems like great deal. thanks OP!

Ask her for a levels

I wonder where I could find out how to do any exercise in the world accompanied lots of informative videos , if only there was a World Wide Way of doing such a thing it would be just what me an YOU TUcouldBE........

I think these apps are OK.

I downloaded the pull-ups pro one a few weeks back when that was free and now have this one too. I've been using the free version of this one and the sit-ups one and the press ups one.

Yes having 4 separate apps is a little annoying but you can flick between them on the 'me' screen and they all feed into one account.

The counting bit isn't great on most of these, the pull up one is awful, so I just do the pull ups then lift the phone up and down to match the number I did. The sit up counter works most of the time but does stop counting for a bit sometimes. The squats counter has been flawless as has the press ups counter.

I completed the free part of the sit-ups one. Although I had found it useful I couldn't justify £2 to carry on, so I downloaded a different free app called 200 sit-ups (or something like that) - it seems to do the job and gives me the reps I need to do to progress with the sit-ups.

The squats one I installed last, so have a few days left to complete the free version - I wouldn't have continued with it for £2 but as it is free on this deal, I will!

The pull ups one has been good, I haven't done pull ups for years so it has been the hardest to do, but the app has been useful in breaking it down into manageable reps.

The press ups again has been good - would be tempted to pay for this one when it finishes but might look for another free one like the sit ups one.

All in all I have been pleased - it has got me into a regular habit of additional exercise again. I'm currently training for a half marathon so I'm hoping these additional exercises will help me to strengthen my core and to help me lose a bit of weight so I can improve my time.

Obviously voted hot on this freebie!

hot

They removed the tablet screen from the speaker to flog 'Alexis the evesdropper'.
And some company removed the headphone jack from the smartphone cos they wanted to boost another company they had bought. They removed the HDMI socket ....... etc etc

Fragmentation sells more parts. Time for a Nokia 3310.
