How much does it cost to run?
    joyf4536's avatar
Depending on your tariff about 70p or more per hour on full heat.

So 2 x 2 Hours per day 7 day per week roughly £85 this month on Full heat.
(A little less in February) (edited)

Don't quote me on this but I think the same company makes it for other brands. I'm currently on the market for this heater and surprisingly I've come across it more than six times with different brand names (e.g. Daewoo, Russell Hobbs, Beldray).

I find that the plug gets very hot on these type of heaters whereas my oil filled radiators with same watt doesnt? anyone else get hot plugs?

Plugs should be expected to get warm with these high current devices when on for long periods, but I think it points.to the thinnest rated cable being used. I've experienced similar surprise to a resistive wire heater at work. You wouldn't want to have to unplug it in a hurry.
