Me too! though I bought mine in December.
...the lid's still on it which is a good sign!
It seems more robust than the old design, the one with the "Autumn leaf" lid ( falls off after 6 months!)

This kettle is horrible if you like a ‘pristine’ glass look.
The hard water marks show daily!

But it is a good looking kettle (had one in the past)

Mine just blew up today after about 6 months. And the lid release got sticky due hard water deposits.

Well, when I said blew up, I really meant it went "pop" and tripped the breaker. Highlight of the day.
