I like these.. Heat Giving

No reason to presume. Sainsburys deals on stuff like this are store specific.

We have one, looks great when clean but we live in a hard water area so timescale is an issue. The glass goes cloudy within a few uses and needs constant cleaning to look good.

I came in to post the exact same comment. Brilliant when new, but limescale is a major problem (if in a hard water area) when you see it, it makes you think twice about having that hot drink lol

Hard water by me too so thank you very much for that info

I have one of these ,it is also the noisiest when boiling

had one for a couple of months... looks great... better than one with silly windows gauge as you don't get caught out by it only being for righ-handies.

ONLY problem with it is it has some kind of steam outlet at the bottom which means it collects water on the plate. i've had two fuses blow and i can't be certain it's not due to the water that collects at the bottom (although russell hobbs say it's 'normal' and a design feature!).

can't say if there's an alternative glass kettle to match but worth considering, if you buy this and then take it back a couple of months later.
