Don't be sorry mate' that's why I do try to make a point of the review average scores on Amazon ( Amazon being unbiased )
This undoubtedly works for some but not everybody
Bear in mind those who complained may have actually paid a lot more too oO

Crap company. Crap products. At least these won't explode & catch fire

I bought this set a few months ago, cheap crap, quick to rust.

Bought these a few months back and they exploded and caught fire.

X)

Bought these for £20 about 18 months ago. Thought they would be great but they're not. But they're not bad for this price. Voted hot.

Ok Ok.... These are not World Class Chef Tools of the Trade.... BUT.... shop own brand stuff which generally costs around £5 barely lasts 1 year and is naff from day 1, this "brand" is just an old name now that really is awful these days, I'd never buy another electrical item that is this brand ever again.... BUT for £9.99 this Knife Block Set is OK for the money... you could waste £5 on a cheap block that will last a month like the Argos Value - blade snap while cutting a butty in half FFS... all handles came off, whereas for £10 this RH Set is a bigger set, solid handles, solid blades (often need a good sharpen with a decent tool) - much better value... So, Hot for this knife set from me because it is good value for money in comparison to anything around the same price range.

Seriously? oO

These were really really poor - do not buy!

These are terrible quality, all but one rusted in less than two weeks. Please save your money and get something better

They are rubbish, don't bother very flimsy and barely cut butter.

Ditto everyone else. Scissors are good. Bread knife is ok because it's only cutting soft things. Large knife is lethal because it's so bendy. Steak knives are like using a plastic knife.

So I guess all those knocking this deal were the negative reviewers on Amazon ? X)

I must be using a different set of knives. I think they are superb, nice and sharp, or at least sharp enough for me. Not a note of bending in them either.
As for rusting. Are people putting them in the dishwasher? Washing them in soapy water and drying them pretty much straight away as the instructions say stops them from rusting.

Bought these today and the block had some wood missing on the underside (like malformation in the tree) and it had been bodged back together with polystyrene glued in and the foot stuck on top. Also the block was really scuffed. Returning tomorrow.
