Was just going through its reviews on amazon, lots of leaking problem.... now looking for a non plastic stainless steel one....1
Bargain, live in a hard water area and have used this particular model of kettle (with Brita filter) for past 9 years...had to replace first one after a problem with it not stopping when reaching boiling. As I bought from Amazon I managed to get replacement FOC. No issues to date with replacement, FWIW no problems re leaks with both.
I've had this kettle now about 6 months and I quite like it. Some of the reviews were a bit unfair I thought. Especially people moaning about condensation inside the glass...
No leaking and in any case it has a long warranty. Also this kettle can boil a very small amount of water if you just want a cup of tea. Most kettles cannot boil such a small amount so saves on electricity cost.
£11 is a no brainer for this kettle.
How often do you need to replace the Brita filter? If you do have to replace them how much do they cost?

Like once a month. Maybe a bit more 5-6 weeks. I think one cost filter cost about £6-8 each.

You can buy none Brita filtered cheaper but filtering water is taking at least 2x time vs Original Brita filters.

But I think it's worth it! It's about you and your health!

The Filters are on offer from time to time, just keep an eye out.
£21.23 for 6 pack of filters in Argos at the moment. Try Argos or Boots for prices.

The main picture for the deal is the glass Purity kettle, which I have and would recommend, whereas the deal is on the plastic type. With that said, there's something offputting about constantly boiling a plastic Brita filter in your kettle... Best just filter the water first.

I was going to say my in-laws had one of these but.... they had 3 in the end... Over the period of two years then binned them...
I thought I read "Party Kettle" for a moment there!

Just grabbed one in Chesterfield there is 1 left still...

Only thing to note is this is only a 1 litre kettle, fine for one or two people but you'd struggle with a big family. also takes a minute or so to completely filter 2 cups worth of water as you have to run pretty much one through per cup.
