It's an OK deal. Not that good. I'll be buying a flat bed microwave in the near future though. Got to get with the times.
Isn't it a bit small to fit standard dinner plates?

What's a good price on a flatbed microwave?

Yes, it is - it said in the description that it would fit a standard dinner plate - I thought my set from Argos would be classed as 'standard'. However, my dinner plates are 27 cm wide. The plate does fit on to the glass turntable (which is smaller than 27 cm wide), however, when the turntable starts to rotate, after about 3 seconds the plate slides towards the right-hand side of the microwave (only a couple of mm spare between the side of the plate and the microwave side walls) and then jams up against the side wall, so will no longer rotate (my microwave is level as well). Because of this, I don't use dinner plates in it, however, it seems to be alright with my pasta bowls which are 23 cm wide.

That's good to know. I actually have same 27cm plates from Argos. I've been looking out for a microwave but it's a bit of a minefield. They all look OK to start with and them someone mentions some fault like dodgy buttons or awkward size and I'm back to square one. Almost tempted to just splash a bit more cash for a Russell Hobbs flatbed - amazon.co.uk/Rus…VQ/
