Unlike most Russell Hobbs products this is a rebadged Sanyo Microwave and it really is well put together. Turning the minutes button to select time takes a while if say you wish to cook a baked taty for 8minutes other than that at this price its a bargain, voted microwave hot!
Imo the reason that this microwave hasn't sold well is because it is a bit bulky compared with some of the new "slimline" models e.g. Panasonic.
But these use the grill for the convection mode as well, and according to the reviews, this can result in a burnt surface. That's why they're "slim

I've been looking/researching for a new combi microwave oven and, price for features, this is miles ahead of anything else - as long as you have enough room to accommodate it.
Mine's in a tower unit anyway so the extra depth for the convection element doesn't matter.
Shame this has been out of stock on the website for at least 3 weeks.

OP you haven't even said the store you got it from.

Voting cold on principle.

It was oos but was back in stock earlier - that's the only reason that I posted.
I purchased mine from the Newhaven Sainsbury's store

There must still be some available and it'll probably show as "in stock" again online as it did earlier this evening
You can always phone your local Sainsbury's and ask
Can anyone tell me what the inside of the microwave is like, what material etc?

OK thanks, I was very interested in buying this and checked a few times over the past few weeks and it always said out of stock, will keep an eye out.

Sorry voted cold before reading this post.
No problem robo989 (_;)

These have been on display in the Newhaven store for a few weeks now at £89.99 but they've only just reduced them to £74.99 instore so you might be lucky.
All of the other reduced microwaves - solo, combi or grill - have sold out, so this model is the last one taking up Sainsbury's shelf space.

btw anyone who's interested in the Newhaven branch, they had one unit stuck up by the beer and wine isles, so the helpdesk will never find that.
Showing "in stock" online.
Gone again

It has a stainless steel "easy clean" interior and a glass turntable.

Also it could double up as a kitchen mirror - because the door is reflective.

When you're cooking you can still see the contents (although a little dim) but you could still use it to adjust your hair/makeup before going out

Don't hesitate - this is a bargain and if it doesn't fit into your dynamic kitchen design- you can always take it back for a full refund which is probably why they keep reappearing online as "in stock".

Oos
@robo989
The offer on this model expires on wed (30th Jan)

Sainsbury's will keep adding one at a time to their online availability until the stocks are exhausted.

If you don't want to phone all of your reachable Sainsbury's stores (which is what I would do) you'll just have to constantly monitor the website
^ thanks jimmybo
I've got one in my basket now - do you want it?
Still showing in stock

Still showing "In stock"

Edit: I'll empty my basket now as there's obviously plenty of online availability (although sporadic) . Sainsbury's are probably pulling the unsold units back from their stores to get rid of all the stock

I would just order and send/take it back if it doesn't suit

It claimed to be in stock last night, added it to my basket and then it showed up as OOS :-(
I registered for email updates and they sent me an email this morning to say it's back in stock so ordered straight away. Thanks OP and everyone :-))

Just ordered one, now out of stock again. :P~
Still on offer instore. Its beep is very loud!!! And my baby-bottle steriliser doesn't fit inside - arghhh!!!
My old microwave just packed in. I would have ordered this one, but seem to have missed out, as it is back to £199 now (seems to be a Jan 13 offer). Oh well, the search continues.
