Does mirrored door mean you cannot see inside when cooking.

Hot! Have had my Russell Hobs combination microwave for 4+ years and it is still working great. Paid £75 for mine back then, but it is only 25l.

Yes.

yes when the lights on inside while cooking
Then only thing that puts me off is the fact they the door are mirrored. You will end up with lots of finger marks which are pain is the back for cleaning
Very good deal and stainless steel interior is a must imo
These are rubbish. Says combination oven. In reality it only has a grill. Try to oven cook something and it just burns the top, whatever the setting. Get one with a proper fan oven with seperate element at the rear. I got the Samsung one from Argos which was around the same price.
HI, are you sure its the same model, same price on Amazon and says it a true fan assisted oven, thanks

There's cheaper Panasonic models that are the same - it's really a shame they all come under the same "Combination" term as it's false advertising.

The last generation of cheaper Panny Combis used the halogen grill element for the Combi/Convection function and burnt everything, leaving food still half-cooked in the middle.

Sent back two that died on me and a third that arrived broken (Amazon Warehouse purchases but the reviews of them spoke for themselves).

I ended up buying a Panasonic Combi that does have a separate fan oven function and I love it, but it was quite a bit more.

This one (there's a newer model that also has a Steam function), 32L and Flatbed Panasonic Premium NN-CF853W Combination amazon.co.uk/d/G…AY6

It's built like a tank and a bit of a monster but I was able to rearrange the kitchen to find a home for it. I was told the "Slimline" size is a sign that a "Combination" model doesn't have a genuine fan oven, as these gadgets need extra room at the back to accomodate it.

However, I nearly bought this one (27L and also with a Flatbed) at the recommendation of RustySpoons (after moaning on Ask about my problems with the cheap Panny Combis a while back): Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ Family Size Combination Microwave Oven, 1000 W - Stainless Steel amazon.co.uk/Pan…QS4

Did you find any good none combi one's that are 900-1000w microwave power, that are push button rather than dial?

Not necessary anti comb apart from price and over kill?

I did get a Russel Hobbs for about £52 in Amazons 20% off warehouse sale.

Possibly the worlds most irritating microwave.

Could not get my mind around the dial.

Looked lovely - But a REAL finger print magnet.

I would have read the manual about the dial but the complete show stopper was, you could not see inside it because of the mirrored door - WTF

It's a shame about the Panasonics as there is a nice one at Amazon but from the reviews it really sucks; reviews on the Panasonic site suck even harder!

(You may be replying to grahambriggs792 rather than me, so apologies if I've misunderstood)

Woops, Liked when I was trying to hit reply. My sister has a Russell Hobbs solo microwave, may be the same as yours (Russell Hobbs RHM2080BR) amazon.co.uk/gp/…J3S - got it for her for around £11!! from Amazon Warehouse a few months back.

It's noisy, it has the dreaded mirrored door you hate (and she hates), and she, like you, found the dial rather difficult to use at first. She's reasonably happy with it.

I'd love to recommend an ordinary microwave but I haven't bought a solo microwave for years (to be honest, I hardly use the grill, oven function is infinitely more useful).

Thank you, the one you bought sounds good but a bit to big for me, but will look into the others in your links and on the other thread, thanks again.
