Kettle... black
Any ideas ..steel or plastic ..usually steel
Same kettle on Amazon is described as 'Sleek gloss black plastic housing with stainless steel accents'. So, all plastic body with some metal strips stuck on here and there.

Still, seems like a decent kettle to me and cheaper from Aldi than either Amazon or Argos. Heated added.
Used this past 3 years never let me down and still going strong. Looks stunning in the kitchen with the blue lights. At this price you can’t get any better! Will buy again without hesitation

have you ever noticed steam coming out of the switch when its boiling?

mine does and i have never been able to figure out how it gets there. it appears to work fine and certainly doesn't leak from there. but its strange that it does that.

Nope never noticed that nor has anyone mentioned it in all the times we’ve used it. Sounds strange as your expect steam to raise out of the kettle not from below the switch esp with water not leaking. Get a replacement if in warranty
Brought this recently from Aldi... Good kettle, water boils quick and hot. It is all plastic but looks smart especially with the blue light. Did think if should get steel or plastic but thought a kettles a kettle. Only plus I find is that this doesn't get very hot to touch as steel would.
