Remember how Ryanair works.

1. The fares must say £2.00 NO TAXES or £2.00 SPECIAL OFFER.
It it says ANYTHING else (usually: Regular Fare) it is not the special offer and taxes will be added.

2. Remember to use an ELECTRON card to pay to avoid their high card charges.

3. The offer appears to indicate a one day booking period only... all the best!

Just remember to go to the loo before you board How long before we have coin operated oxygen masks and lifejackets....

In fairness, a good deal for those with Electron cards and only require hand-luggage. I've been on quite a few of their 1p deals - so can't really complain - even though I know this deal is technically 200 times poorer

I use Ryanair regularly and I find my colostomy bag saves me a fortune.

I don't think Electron cards are saving option. Just checked flight details (not this deal), normal rate:

Price is 180 including taxes
Then it was 278 including 1 bag (baggage + hand baggage) and airport checking for 3 people, no priority boarding,
And 315 including payment handling fee, checked all cards, didn't made a difference (unless page price didn't change after I made first option).

I heard that using their card you don't pay these fees. Please correct me, not sure.

The only problem is that nobody else flies to Reus from London, also correct me here if I'm wrong

electron card will not be charged all other cards will Per passenger/ Per One Way Flight £4.75

Well 2 flights to dublin at £2.49 with everything totted up comes to £125. What a bargain NOT, the final price had me running to the loo. At least the resulting movement didn't cost me a pound, but summed up my thoughts about them lol

Look at it this way - if you have a electron card then the flights will be £2 not £125 as some have mentioned - for those people that simply want to go away for a short break can therefore take no suitcase, check in online in most cases and would arrange thier own insurance

£2 IS POSSIBLE SO THEREFORE A VERY GOOD DEAL

£2 to fly thousands of miles when most cars would travel 15 miles on £2

And if Ryanair want to charge £1 to use the toilet - then fine, as long as my seat cost me less than the cost of a starbucks coffee. I would rather do that than pay £49+ with BA in the hope that I might use the facilities for free

Anyone who saw the interview can see that he was taking the **** rather than really considering charging for one. He is just a media ***** and will have loved the free media coverage generated by a throw away comment - according to the Express it was more deserving of a front page headline than anything else in the whole world.

I agree completely with the charging for bags and checking in at a desk as why should people who check in online with only hand luggage subsidise the rest?

As mentioned before (and before that) if you don't have an electron try paying by virtual electron card through entropay.com who only charge 5% on a minimum of a £10 load.

cant find any that say £2 no taxes or special offer ...

how do you find these on the site ?

where are these speacial deals ?

cheeeeers

Paying for the toilet maybe just a joke for publicity............but here is the real moneymaker........Overhead Reading Light Carbon Emmision Tax..........So now your booking reminder list is.....only buy the "no taxes" flights, dont take a suitcase, pay by electron card, check in online, take a torch, dont buy a cup of tea on board (its £3),please feel free to add to this list................

If you click on the link there is a list of destinations - it could be your destination is not one of the ones on the £2 offer.

Thank you have some rep im very happy to know it works

Gone up to £3 one way now but still no extra dates added so not looking good for me and a holiday.

Sorry if this is long winded just some help for those who have problems finding cheep prices.

Ok people I understand a few have problems looking for these right fights for the discounted price I shall try and explain…

1.The best way is to go to the (book now) on the yellow tab
2.Now select a airport near you
3.Now select the place you wish to go
4.now select the dates to fly from there are specific dates these deals start and end.
5.now select a date to return a couple of weeks after your date of departure even if you only intend to go for a couple off nights
6.Now MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE My travel dates are flexible BOX.
7 keep it down to one adult as this make it easier to search for flights, and click search

Ok now on this page you will see prices under the dates 0.00, 39.99, 7.99 these are prices for the flight and will include tax on your flight for example

Depart:
Birmingham 06:35
Arrive:
Alicante 10:10

1 x Adult 0.00 GBP

Fare: 0.00 GBP
Taxes / Fees: 27.03 GBP
Total Price: 27.03 GBP

So the ticket is free but the taxes bump it up to 27.03!

Now you need to look for the offer price i.e 3.00

NO TAXES
Depart:
London Stansted 06:35
Arrive:
Porto 08:55

1 x Adult 3.00 GBP

Fare: 3.00 GBP
Taxes / Fees: 0.00 GBP
Total Price: 3.00 GBP

This means the ticket is 3.00 and is tax free hence you get the price advertised.

Now just get a return flight for the same price the same way on the date you want.

TIPS
I cant stress enough please don’t be picky with where you go if you want to go Italy then you need to look at all Italian airports and you also need to look at a few different airports in the U.K aswell, also dates will vary so its better to book the flights first then take time off work…

Ok couple more pointers after you selected the flights the next page
YOU HAVE TO SELECT 0bags & online check in if you don’t you will be charged extra!

It will then ask if you want to be first on the plane once again if you do you will be charged!

It will say united kingdom in the next box this is travel insurance you need to select NO TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIRED or you will be charged!

Now enter your details and when you pay you have to use visa electron card or you will be charged again!

I have flown to Sweden and Italy this year and will be going to Palma and Porto as well in the next few months on these deals so they are their I am just very flexible

I don't think they actually will do that, but even if they did I wish everyone would just STOP MOANING! If you are that bothered by extra charges, fly with British Airways (with a far higher ticket price).

Only the tightest of people would resent paying £1 to use the toilet (lets face it, you could probably last the flight without using it at all, once at the most) after paying £1 for the ticket. It costs more than that for me to take the bus up the road (no toilet provided...).

Stop moaning, Not all Ryan air flights are £1.00 and what happens when the flight is delayed or you have a medical condition:whistling: But no worries hey you’ll just have more people farting on board the resulting hot gases should help with lift and the use of less fuel so more profits for Ryanair ;-)

I actually would resent this. Particularly when you are captive in their plane and especially if you have paid for their overpriced food.

I have no problem with the overpriced food, charges for checked luggage or insurance and priority boarding. However charging for the toilet imo is a step too far. What if I did not have any coins on me? Going to the toilet is a basic human need and defiantly should not cost extra. I guess you could say food is too but then you can bring your own if you wish.

However Michael o'leary just seems to say whatever he feels like saying at the time. I do not think they will ever actually do this.

I would soil the seat in spite of ryan air, I'm sure the cost of cleaning would outweight the profits and soon they would stop

I can't believe how so many people get so wound up with Ryanair - even to the point of expiring an active deal!

Whatever the cost, from free to hundreds, you know in advance you are booking a no frills airline so if things go tits up you are in bother.
ALL the extra charges are avoidable.
I'd hazard a guess that many of the people who moan have never actually flown with them. (Many, not all.)
Finally, as mentioned before if you don't like them don't fly with them, there are still plenty of other airlines to choose from.

My personal theory is that a lot of the people are too thick to find the cheap flights and reading the advice on earlier pages of this thread, and every other Ryanair thread, is too much like hard way.

People are just lazy. I fly all the time with ryanair for less than £10. It just takes a bit of effort to look for the cheap flights. I think people expect the exact flight from and to where then want exactly when they want to be the advertised price.

Anyway I get cheap flights if others are too lazy to look for them then it's their loss.

And why expire cannot you people just leave the buttons alone ? the op said in the title £2 today but increases £1 each day so it is a ongoing deal till the 9th surely this is better than having a new one posted each day ?

Do people actually fly without any proper luggage to avoid the baggage charge ??
