who wants to buy some flights :-D

Its £70 to change the name!!!!!

I'm voting cold - these are rubbish outside of the capital, an easy way to while away a couple of hours on Ryanairs website but the chances of finding cheap fares (excluding taxes) from Birmingham in none existant.

Flights are £1 from Birmingham to Dublin, even during august school holidays

it is worth noting that all passengers must check in online, at a charge of 5 pounds. The offer fights waiver this charge.

I can NEVER find any that don't include £40 worth of taxes, these Ryanair deals have always been the equivalent of the ASDA deals for me, i.e none existent. If I'm honest due to the amount of time I've spent fruitlessly searching the ryanair website, today I gave it a 10 minute go... and thought 'ho-hum, same old, same old...'

Seems the OP found a couple so maybe I didn't search hard enough?

what are you looking for? I will find you a deal

I'd like to go to prague for a weekend but i'll settle for dublin, is there any way to avoid paying the £20 card handling charge? OP says electron but I can't even see that in the list of available choices?

EDIT : Found it... what's a VISA Electron card?
EDIT 2: Will an Entropay card suffice If I signup for one?

Glad you found a flight - was beginning to think you were looking at a different site :-D.

Stilll loads of flights from Birmingham (Dublin, Oslo, Düsseldorf etc). I haven't used Entropay so don't know anything about them but you can get a visa electron card at the Post Office, takes 24hours or so to activate though and there is a small charge (think I paid £3 to put £200 on a card)

My problem is not with the flights its finding the cheap hotels lol.

good if you can manage to get some for a quid

ryanair can stick there planes where the sun don't shine bunch of rip off merchants,

Been looking for cheap flights all day to Barcelona or Reus from any UK airport (as close to north east as poss.) Don’t mind driving to a further away one if price is good. The best I can find is free flight with £40.00 tax and a fee added is this correct. Seems like a good price still but wanted to check first as people seem to be getting them without any fees.

I will need to check in 3 bags which I understand is £60.00,
Total cost £140 for 2 adults and 2 children. Oh looking at any dates in October.

Info on this:
ryanair.com/sit…STN

note the: "Fares don't incl optional Fees/Charges (Click here)"

which leads to a fee's page:
ryanair.com/sit…GES

I've just booked return flights to Lubeck (Germany) and I have to say that if it wasnt the cheapest flight I would never use ryanair.
- bad legroom (i'm 6'5")
- The fee's just go on and on! - we got to the end and they added £20 for the card fee's (I dont have an electron card) 4 x £5 fee's - which i find hard to swallow since I only make 1 payment to them they will only get charged for one card fee... grrrrrrrr

So:

Price: Warm, they always have prices around this quoted £1(+fees)
The flight: nothing wrong with the pilots / planes / staff, just I hate being crammed in.

So for this deal - No vote from me. Its not really cold, but imho its not hot!

why pay the £20 card fees... it has been done to death on how to avoid this

Yep I agree total rip off only 85 million seats last year everyone a total rip off :whistling:

More flights for us regulars thanks

Just booked Stansted-Dublin £2 return each late sept using Entopay. Then 3 days parking at Stansted long stay for £5.97 total(see seperate thread) Happy days!

Thought it might be worth a mention... If your taking maximum hand luggage (10KG / 55cm x 40cm x 20cm) be careful when buying goods in the departure lounge as the girl in front of me at the departure gate was taken to one side and charged excess baggage as the items she'd just bought would not fit in the case.

I opened a halifax easycash account a couple of £1 sales ago, just to have an electron card ready for future use...you've got to plan ahead

Now if only the guinness exchange rate were better...

It says on there website offer is June-August

It SAYS June to august but I have just booked flights to Belfast in September and October for £1 each way. Thankful for my son's Electron card.

try travelsupermarket for hotels, travelrepublic or sunshineholidays - all cheapest i have found

I booked Belfast - Liverpool return for a total of £2. I set up a virtual visa card on www.entropay.com which registers as a Visa Electron when selecting your payment type of Ryanair for your flight. Its the only payment option that has no booking fee, saving £10 per person per return flight!
