just tried to book a return to allicante and this is what i got lol Regular Fare

Depart:
Alicante 06:00

Arrive:
East Midlands 07:30

3 x Adult 83.97 GBP
1 x Child 27.99 GBP

Fare: 111.96 GBP
Taxes / Fees: 63.20 GBP
Total Price: 175.16 GBP

so as you see FEES are NOT included in price

Sorry - bad prices, cold deal

fees are included in this price - but this is not a summer offer as it may be understood from the typical ryanair advertising - the dates are mostly september to january 09.
so its a pretty good deal if you want to plan a trip for the autumn

Hows this a bad deal £20 return to go most places in europe aint as gud as 2P i can find loads of £20 returns not hard. still hot

Did you try booking it during the period stated in the OP? I can only assume not.

Why do people constantly vote deals cold when it's simply the case that they haven't bothered to read?

Good deal if you can make those dates! Hot

i was booking for 30th of june till 7th july so yes it was done within the travel period yet FEES are still charged as shown in my post earlier, kind of misleading title saying 10 all inclusive inc fees when clearly its not

But the title doesn't say that. It clearly says from £10, not exactly £10, and the same is true of the Ryanainr website.

travel period may be 17th june - 31st jan 09
but blackout dates are 19th June - 31st August (and more)
you always need to read the small print with low care airlines

there just arent any low fares over summer with any airlines
Although if you can get a return fare to alicante from east midlands for 4 people at £175 during summer, booking it less than 4 weeks in advance I would say you should grab it and be grateful

Yes, and for a number of tickets they would be included. However, the nature of budget airlines is that only a limited number of seats go at the promotional price, and all the others go back up to a more normal price. The website still clearly shows that some destinations can be had for £10 all inc. each way; it's just unfortunate in your case that nothing is left at that kind of price.

although, I am looking to get a mate out from france, Grenoble to Stansted 15th to 18th of august, and it is only 60 euros return, which isn't bad ( the return flight is 15 euros).

In these sales, you have to remember the following:
1 - it isn't all the flights
2 - only limited number of seats per flight
3 - if you want to fly the "popular" times and days of the week, then you have no chance

In the end, don't expect your flight to spain, mid summer, in the middle of the holidays, at an ideal time of day, saturday to saturday to be cheap. The reason why you get cheap flights is because the time of the flights are unsociable hours, mid week, to airports that are often way out from the actual destination that you want....

flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com is a great site for checking which flights are £10. Just change the settings on the left to suit your needs and change the spend number to £10. It should then provide a list for all the Ryanair flights for a tenner
