Ryanair...launched 500,000 FREE seats, one-way including taxes and charges, as part of its Christmas Seat Give Away which runs from Monday 22nd until 12pm on Christmas Eve (Wed 24th) for travel in January and February.

As usual, normal Ryanair extras apply.
Luggage, airport check-in attract extra charges as does payment with any card except Visa Electron.

Sales launches 22 DECEMBER

Assuming website will charge £0.01 as usual as it can't show a zero balance.

I'll certainly take a look at that tomorrow morning... Cheers!

Will have a gander....usually the 'charges' make the deal not that great but, nevertheless, book on the right day at the right time and there's always bargains to be had. HOT.

I have whinged here about Ryanair, but that didn't stop me getting flights at less than a fiver return - just play them at their own game!

Cheers for the heads up. Just got my Visa Electron card so that I don't have to pay their charges for debit & credit card payments

I'll definantly be taking a look, thanks.

I wonder how much they will chare for "luggage (inc hand luggage!!)"....

Anyone with a coop current account should request an electron card ready for these deals to ensure they do not get charged for using their card.

I flew with them for the first time in Nov - took the kids to Paris - Got to say I was very impressed, well organised, clean planes, £30 all in for 3 of us.

great maybe get a cheap ski deal
thanks

Has anyone else heard of this? I am curious where the info came from (I have no email & can't find anything on the website) - wonder if it's insider info?

Great deal. Will check tomorrow

OP - what TIME tommorrow would this start?

I was all ready to book a flight with them a couple of hours ago but after I had chosen the flights, it was going to cost £30 to take a small 15kg suitcase. That's £60 for the two of us! They can cram their "cheap" flights. I booked with another airline (and got quidco as well).

Watch out for the charges!

Yep agree, awful company

I booked yesterday for a flight. Good price but apart from the well known rip off's, watch out for thier TRANSACTIONS FEE. this is for all prople on the booking and both ways @ £5. watch out,
tThe way i got round it was get my son (who is not travelling) to pay on his electron card, which does not attract the charge
Thay have also just raised their charges for baggage as well as airport check in, which you have to so if you are taking luaggage
How they justify this is beyond me.

can be a good deal but look at final price first.

because different airports chartge different prices per passenger,
Any of the former BAA airport will be more pricey eg Southampton, Stanstead

Live Now!!!!

My total thanks to the OP - a weekend home for the wife for 4p return for both of us! Only about 46p left on our Co-Op travel money card now!!!

Because the outbound flights are subject to UK taxes, return ones are subject to local taxes in the country you are flying from.

Just tried flight Liverpool to Belfast in January: flights are free but there ARE taxes on top.

Taxes are paid for by ryanair - our 4p trip will cost them £40! You need to be looking from noon monday to noon thursday (ie not thursday afternoon, friday, saturday, sunday or monday morning).

Just checked & it seems that belfast-liverpool is not included.

Just got two flights from Stanstead to Bremen and back again for 4p, thanks OP, day out for me and the GF

Mike..

anyone fancy pm me there electron card details and i'll paypal them £1 in return?

Thanks for the Heads-up, but AS USUAL, us North of the Border get a bum deal.
Some places from Glasow & Edinburgh, but Aberdonians can go to Dublin, or erm Dublin, or ... Dublin :x

Bremen isn't a big bustling place, but its quite pleasant. - I went there on a similar offer earlier this year. If you wander across a choclate shop called hachez, then I strongly recommend popping in.

I'm finding £9.99 flights but thats it atm

....ignore that just found one for £0.00

It initially displays “United Kingdom”. Click on it, and scroll upwards to find “No travel insurance required”.

Right! The knack of this is to find a flight for 0.01, NOT 0.00! Otherwise it charges £10 per person.

Just booked Prague for five nights, £5 per night at Sir Toby's (which is yet to be confirmed but I've emailed them!). Absolute bargain.

Also booked for Krakow in Feb, fantastic, cheers!

My first reply to a post, don't know if anyone else has suggested this but this is what i did
Instead of wasting time getting a visa electron, i used my normal credit card to buy a gift voucher from the website (£25) for £25 credit and paid for the flight this way.
Quick, easy and works, now i've got £24.94 voucher on ryanair which i have to use in the next 6 months. But still saved £30 of card charges

Good idea. I've just used my Visa Electron that I bought just over a month ago from the Post Office to book 2 return flights to Limoges - price 4p. Okay - so I had to fill in a form, go down to the post office and wait until the next day for it to be activated but I can use the money on the card anywhere that takes Electron up to November 2010. If you don't want to set up a new bank account then this is probably the best moneysaving option.

Nicely done, that is a fantastic Idea. That was the one unfair charge IMO.

Pick the 0.01p flights, the ones you have chosen are not within this offer. We have this discussion every time a ryan air deal is posted.

I've flown with Ryanair plenty of times and get round all of the charges as much as possible

We do have to pay to check in at the airport as we have an infant travelling with us BUT you can claim this money back as per their terms and conditions

Just realised that they have increased the fee for the baby from £16 to £20! Wee man doesn't get a seat or any luggage allowance for that!
