Don't suppose you could post some details for a valid flight that shows as £5 inc taxes?

It doesn't seem to matter what dates I choose in the travel period it still shows as much more expensive, or maybe im doing something wrong.

I have noticed a similar deals from Ryanair since christmas and the best I managed was £20 return without bags or insurance etc.

Cheers

I think the following are from £5 FROM LONDON:

Belfast (City)
Brussels (Charleroi)
Derry
Gdañsk
Glasgow (Prestwick)
Klagenfurt
Palma Mallorca
Shannon
Toulon St. Tropez

This and other departure points can be found here:

ryanair.com/sit…ore

:-)

HTH

RR

Example I just checked:

Liverpool to Shannon 7th Feb - 20th Feb

£10.00 inc all taxes/charges.

The £5 offers show as £0.01 during the booking process (before taxes/charges)

came to £147 for me and the missus voted cold

You can take an hand luggage size bag in with you for free

example Stansted, 11th March to Palma is £5 outbound, £29,99 back though:thumbsup:

More effective would be out on 29th jan and back on 1 feb. Is £10

Its not the deals fault that you're not flexible...

great deal
ryanair have some great prices at the minute. and online check in and just hand luggage works great i think as they allow 10kg

worked first time for me - Newcastle - Dublin return £10 - not quite as thrifty as the free flight but hard to argue it's not a good deal for a weekend hop.

Operative word being 'FROM'

They are amazing deals but the problem i have always found is trying to get them. I have been on so many of ryanairs cheap deals but they dont make it easy for you to find the deals, you have to keep tring random dates til you hit one, a great way would be similar to easyjets checking process where u get a months view with the cheapest price for each day.

Still a good deal, I looked for some deals from Liverpool but ended up not booking anything I fancied, might give it another go later

London to Glasgow return
outward fare 1p + £19.98 taxes
inward 1p + £17.80 taxes
Total fare £37.80.
If you ask me this is a big con

if u want to find the cheapest flights from ryanair (and other operators), MSE have a flightchecker flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/
which is really good and easy to use!!

It all depends on the date though, and return for less than £40 to fly the length of England is pretty reasonable really

Just booked for 6 of us togo to Dublin.
£35 each including one bag.
How can anyone argue with that!

You'll have an awesome time- we booked a big group of us to go to Dublin last time there was a seat sale- it was great

belfast to london for 2 £20 for 2 nites good value if ya ask me.

So anyone want to tell me where would be good to stay in london for 2 nites 22nd-24th jan?

Ryanair are the cheapest and have excellent deals but you have to know what you are doing when you book flights with them.
DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT WITH A CREDIT CARD use a debit card or pay an unreasonable surcharge.
If you are just taking handluggage make sure you tick 0 bags Internet check-in/priority boarding airport check in will cost you £4 each way and you will stand in a queue
If you do put a bag in ensure it only weighs up to 15 kilos or it will cost you a surcharge and cause you delay. Also make sure you tick NO for would you like to be one of the first to board(unless you want it) or it will put another £2 each way.
Unless you really want their travel Insurance make sure that box is ticked NO
Also it sometimes works out cheaper to make the booking as 2 one way flights rather than a return

Thanks Osiris That's really helpful-
Welcome to the site

Last year we got trips to Sardinia & Barcelona for the cheap deals & had 2 fab times. We did then book again to fo to Dublin with Ryanair & would definitely fly with them again.

Anyone reckon they will extend this past Wed 12th Mar 08?

or NO because after Mar is high season?

Ryanair have offers like this all the time, but its a gamble waiting as they might not. If you are prepared to wait and see then do so, if the price at the mo sounds OK then book it.

so a manual check at the airport in dublin with just with a tiny sports bag will cost me nothing? - i am checking in online for the newcastle to dublin journey though

Even with hand luggage only, Ryanair now charge £2 per passenger per flight to check in manually at the airport. You can avoid this fee by checking in online for free which also gives you a benefit of free priority boarding. However, the online check in system can only be used between 2 days and 4 hours before the flight. This means that if your trip is more than two days long, you have to find way of accessing the internet and printing out a boarding pass whilst away.

Aye thought so - rip off like but for £10 each return it's still a good deal. I will go to an internet cafe in dublin and print them out, still saves me money
