Following an earlier post I was searching through the Ryanair website where I found one penny flights from London Stansted ( midweek and Saturdays with taxes paid ) to Zweibrucken in Germany. The flights are available right up until the end of June 2009.
As stated by previous post to avoid extra charges make sure you elect to take only hand luggage, deselect priority boarding, deselect the travel insurance and pay either by a visa electron card, post office travel card or via Entropay.
Hope this helps someone sort out a cheap holiday for themselves.

Heat from me, anything that is that cheap (even if it is ryanair) is worth a day trip out, hopefully the flights are at a suitable time so I can go for the day, lol.
Thanks,

Mike..

Thinking of our German friends at the moment... terrible news.

kinda ill timed promo

Make sure you go before you leave or it'll cost you 100 times your fare to use the loo en-route!

If you are flying after 1st May, you will HAVE to pay to checkin, no matter how you do it...

"From 1st May 2009 all new bookings will be required to use web check-in, and the use of traditional airport check-in desks will be phased out over the summer months. The web check-in fee of £5/€5 per person, per flight will apply to all new bookings (except promotional fares) from 1st May 2009. In order to dissuade passengers from using airport check-in desks, the fee for airport check-in will double to £20/€20 per person/per flight at the time of booking."

This statement is incorrect because if you book your flight now the new charge will not apply. So you can book your flight to Germany travelling in May / June 2009 for one penny each way.
Ryanair will charge passengers who check in online a fee of £5 per person per flight for bookings made on or after March 19, whether they want to check-in luggage or not.

This statement may be correct but the 'except promotional fares' part is interesting since the fares I am highlighting in this post are promotional so may or may not be hit with the new online check in fee. We shall have to wait and see about that one.

£5 extra if you have hair as people who are bald should not be forced to subsidise the folically awash.
