So why is there no link or nothing?

Ryan Air cancelled it, at the last minute......
After last years fiasco I'm surprised that anyone would trust Ryan Air. After ruining thousands of peoples travel plans. What a brass neck they have offering cheap flights. I wouldn't use them if they paid me to use them. No disrespect to the OP but I rather fly economy on a hang glider.
East Midlands Airport 18th March - Flights all delayed for 1 -2 hours for snow clearance . All other flights left with an hour or so delay (My Thomas Cook one included) except for 3 Ryanair flights cancelled . It was heartbreaking to see hundreds of passengers (most with hotels booked at their destination , airport parking paid for) milling around the departure hall being given no help whatsoever by Ryanair .

I presume Ryanair must have had something more profitable to do with those aircraft /crews - but not much comfort to the hundreds of passengers with hotels booked at their destinations . Some Holiday !! .
Its about time Ryanair got well publicised heavy fines for their shoddy treatment of passengers - all the time - not just that shambles last Autumn . Many cancellations happen on a daily basis .

Many less informed folk just look at the price and think " Wow bargain " ! Think twice or you may be sitting with your baggage in Departures with the sun and your hotel room not having the pleasure of your company

Don't ever vote any Ryanair deal on here "hot" as it may give less savvy members the idea that its a good deal . 91% of Ryanair flights arrive on time , but remember ,those that are cancelled don't count in those stats . I'd love to see the stats for their cancellation percentage - but "strangely" they don't release those !

So tempting! But then I think about their rude customer service, constant delays, cancellations, ripping customers off...

Sour grapes

My flight (Thomas Cook ) left OK with an hours delay - as stated in my post

Maybe you should address your unhelpful comment to the 500 or so Ryanair passengers who lost their holidays that day on the 3 flights they cancelled for no apparent reason ?

Sounds like you have never flown with them. I've used them literally hundreds of times spending between 1p and £20 (total) per flight and found them to be most reliable.

I presume you would still hold the same opinion if your next 1p flight were cancelled at the last minute - parking and hotel booked , kids and luggage in tow ? Everyone excited at the holiday you've saved all year for ?

Had two flights cancelled. One because the airport was closed because of snow and one because all flights banned due to that volcano. Airlines make no money cancelling flights, they only make money when the big sliver birds are in the Sky with punters inside. ALL airlines cancel flights due to bad weather. Ryanair fly on average over 1/3 of a million people each day so once in a while it will happen.

Strange then that the only flights cancelled that day (from EMids) were Ryanair ( 3 flights ) all other airlines Jet2 ,Thomas Cook , TUI etc took off with an hour or so delay .

If you are , as I suspect , something to do with Ryanair PR - maybe, as I have stated the Airport and the date , you could explain why it was just Ryanair flights x3 that were cancelled and none of your colleagues from Ryanair were in the departure hall to help your "valued customers " ?

I'm nothing to do with any airline however maybe the planes were due in when the airport was closed. If they can't land they can't take off later.

Anyway, I have two flights booked this week and I am not expecting any delays.

Please don’t make assumptions, I wouldn’t make a comment about them if I hadn’t experienced their appalling service on numerous occasions. Im a big believer in not judging a company on a first bad experience, but after the 5th, I feel I’m entitled to. Its only the price that was appealing, but the knock on affect with the hotel booking and various other arrangements is very inconvenient. In fact, my best friend was supposed to be in Marrakesh right now. She arrived at the airport 4 hours in advanced and the queues were out the door for people trying to check in their luggage. She wish she only hand luggage that day, as she had printed off her boarding pass online and could of gone straight through. They blamed her and the other customers saying they didn’t arrive early enough at the customer service desk! Numerous complaints at customer services that day of customers “missing their own flight”. I would rather pay extra for another airline. You get what you pay for.

I do hope it all goes well ,and it may well do . I daresay you have the luxury of having alternative plans should your flights be cancelled .

Please spare a thought though for the thousands of passengers who trust their holiday plans to the disgrace that is Ryanair and can't afford to rebook or reschedule their holidays at the last minute as you clearly can .

Flying Ryanair is like buying from a Chinese seller - if all goes well , you save a bit of money - if it all goes wrong you lose a lot

As a member who likes to help fellow members. I think all savvy members should feel a responsibility to those less savvy to point out the potential risks of saving a few quid with certain notoriously unreliable "deals"

Try booking for a flight tomorrow and you'll pay through the nose, but book at the right time (not too early) and you can pick up very cheap flights. They hope you'll but extras but you don't HAVE to - I never do. They don't make any money from an empty seat.

Not many airlines cancel flights due to a pilot holiday issues. Leaving thousands of holidaymakers stranded. Look if you read the story about this maybe you will change your mind about how amazing they are.....Just because you have flown with them for 1p doesn't make them an amazing airline. In the same way that if Sweeney Todd cut hair for free wouldn't make him Vidal Sassoon.

I'm sure she's just modelling for it. Ryanair pilots usually don't have much to smile about.

I realise you've used them many times but they have blotted their copy book with thousands of customer, for very silly avoidable reasons. It's fine using these deals known as lost leaders but. Get the basics first before reducing flight prices to entice people. Look it's a huge company and to cancel so many flights last year really was unforgettable. Yes acts of god and tech malfunctions will always happen but pilots needing to take holiday? Really..... I'd like to think that they have learnt from their mistakes but public confidence in them has been hugely damaged and respect lost. These will take years to return. They are earned not given freely for a £4.99 flight.

Because they offer 1p flights not get people to their destination and back again. You offer someone a bargain flight people will take it. Just like you do...... That's fine until you get stranded in a foreign country with three children and have to get home and pay premium prices to get home or you miss your holiday altogether as your flight was cancelled. You carry on using them and good luck to you. Passenger numbers do not equal good service.......well maybe it does in your head.

To be fair - because some passengers deserve Ryanair !

If passengers can't be bothered to take notice of Ryanair's appalling customer service and late cancellation record and book solely on price then agreed , they get what they deserve. Sadly those worst hit will be those least able to afford to be .

A good question; ideal present for someone you don't really like but have to buy them a present anyway?
They will prob cancel your flight. Cold
