I've pushed a different front lamp before on hukd, Its the model I use on my commute, it comes into its own on an unlit cycle path, where its shaped beam and ability to alter its aim away from the eyes of oncoming pedestrians with ones thumb due to the clever mount design. Ebay item 323797942542 costs £9.05 delivered, quite a few similar clones around, but this seems the cheapest. Alleged 400 lumens and 2 hour full beam run time. Small, low weight and robust with a very convenient mount , compared to rubber bands, IMO. Just about bright enough for non sport non ebike speeds. Flashing mode good enough for general use. Switches itself off if it doesnt detect movement, or if it senses bright light (depending on mode selected) - not that these features are much practical use. Micro USB rechargeable with an improved cover for the charging port compared to earlier versions.
