200nm of torque is right up there with quality brands. Shane Ryobi marketing is to sell tools cheap but very expensive batteries.
As far as I'm concerned Ryobi is mid range DIY . Quite capable and well made. I use a Ryobi palm router with a Dewalt battery adapter in site for door hinges and similar. 1/4 the price of DeWalt which is my mainstay for all other tools.
Only trouble with battery adapters is they make the setup quite a bit larger...

It doesn’t really as a general rule. But I’ve always found Bosch professional very hit or miss. I have noticed they do multiple “Pro” products in the same range, all with varying degrees of quality. Some the same or worse then Ryobi and some miles better.

If you’re an enthusiastic DIY’er then Ryobi is perfect, will last you a long time and will be more then enough to all all home jobs done. Plus the one battery for a home enthusiast is outstandingly convenient.
If you’re making a living using your tools I’d pick something else, something that can take a battering day in day out.

Although with that being said the Ryobi Brad nailer beats out a Milwaukee equivalent.

Bosch professional is something what I wouldn't touch so is Ryobi. If you want quality - go for DeWalt. Price reflects this. So for Bosch and Ryobi thumbs down.

This is correct, impact rated spade bits (with a hex shaft) are great for drilling joists with an impact driver. DeWalt and Bosch make some good ones. Both have been posted on here semi-recently

I've been using Ryobi for years and the previous version to this has been invaluable, if you look at the specs the torque on these are higher than most other brands. I build a lot of woodland steps and handrails and the driver has never failed me.

A combi drill will not do what this does, I use both all the time.

I've got an older version of this, I think mine has 220NM; plenty for any normal screw (I tried using an adaptor with my 1/2 Ryobi 400NM... it turns out you can have TOO much torque, it twisted my PZ3 bit, though drove it in REALLY quick, not tried with the dewalt with over double that.)
I've had mine for over 10 years, though fairly light use over that, but still done quite a lot.

I had/have a Ryobi drill that absolutely failed to die; eventually I justified moving to a Dewalt brushless because it started to get a bit sloppy, but I regularly used that one pushing sidweways to enlarge holes and that took maybe 12 years! (The gear selector switch broke, but fixed with some superglue.)
