This is the compact corded version. Not as handy as the battery operated version but for this price it's well worth a go. Was £37.95 now in store at £12.95 and comes with 5 free disks. Ideal for the smaller DIY jobs, my current angle grinder is quite heavy when trying to get to awkward jobs, this will be ideal as it's a lot smaller.
Bought in Fareham but part of nationwide sale.

The proof is in store. Get off your backside and get to Homebase and find out for yourself. What ever would I have to gain by making it up?

In store there was a shelf with them still marked up at £37.95 but at the end of the isle they were marked up at £12.75 with all the rest of the Ryobi sale stuff. I'd put up the receipt but I would hope my word is good enough. Maybe someone else can confirm it?

I'll confirm your word is good enough pal , no idea if the angle grinder is available anywhere (else) at that price though.

Should be as the young lad in store said it was part of their national sale.
I remember once telling a bloke from work I machine polished my car, he asked what the polisher looked like so showed him a picture... he ended up buying a grinder thinking they were the same thank God he didn't use it
so this is a hot deal without any proof !! why not £2.75 ?
Could do with a spare.

I can confirm. There was one in Homebase Colchester a few days ago but sold last time when i was there. Was tempted but just bought last week the 5 piece Ozito cordless set
£20 in B&Q but poor reviews, think I'll pass.

There have been many instances of so called in-store deals (without proof) which ended in total waste of time and money.

They obviously weren't around on this forum during the Tesco 'Double the Money Back + Item Free' if overcharged game everyone was playing getting free Xbox 360's, TV's and More all those years ago!

Because it's a deal with almost 70 percent off, have you been in a coma or something and woke up in a different world? Sorry, just noticed none of your three posted deals got passed 100 so are you a tad jealous young man.

As the description says 'for small DIY jobs' I've flashed it up and it is powerful enough for me.
The free five disks alone have got to be worth half of the cost.
I need to cut down the kids trampoline to get it in the car (and down the dump) will it cut through that?
Yes definitely.

Should be ok as they actually had a shelf ticket with the sale price on so it wasn't a glitch or scanning error. Good luck.

To be fair most end up a total waste of time and money regardless of proof as these type of deals are usually a wild goose chase.
My local Homebase's shelf prices rarely even match the online prices that have been the same for weeks & chances are when there is a sale price on the shelf it isn't for the item above it. Complete pot luck but have picked up a bargain every now & then. If I didn't have one walking distance from work I wouldn't bother with them as most items are usually cheaper elsewhere. Not voting but a good price for something most people will rarely use after the job they bought it for.
