That is a very good set for the price. I have a 12V Ryobi drill (amongst others) and it's brilliant. The only thing it's short of is a few bigger diameter drill bits but they are fairly cheap to pick up.

Very good price considering you get 2 x batteries for drill driver.

Hot from me

Bargain!

bargain, thanks!

Cordless 12V drill is single speed and 12Nm torque!!!

I'd get the 14.4V 2 speed 30Nm cordless combi deal for £49.99 from B&Q and add a cheap mains drill.

Gotta go to work or I'd post it as an alternative deal.

cheers,
Pete.

That cordless drill really looks bottom of the range. You don't get many drills with a 8-10hr charger. 3-5hr is normally baseline specification for a charger. 1hr charger is quite common. 750W drill is not that powerful either. Baseline spec is 500W I would say. Deal looks pretty weak to me.

Ryanobi, put them in the same box and Ryan Air! Bought a Ryobi Petrol blower for the garden, done 3 hours (2 starts, 6 months appart) then it wouldn't turn over, starter rope came off the pulley inside, they changed this out within the 12 month guarantee, next one lasted exactly the same, around 3 hours, course then it was out of warranty - no exchange, that was a £200 piece of kit. Do yourself a favour go for a Site (Screwfix), that is a makita, rebadged and outstanding value for money... Ice Cold for me!

Great deal for a decent pair of power tools. Heat added.

mixed bag of posts here......

I've moved permanently away from Ni-cd recharchable tools now. I've been let down so often by them not holding a charge when I needed them to. Li-ion all the way now but that's what you pay big $ for.

Good price though so heat added.

I'd be getting the DE-WALT 18v drill from B+Q (who own screwfix) with 2 x batteries. Ideal drill at a great price!
