Don't recommend it... Just returned mine.
A 3 week long and wet grass, used up 6 x 4amp battery to cut A small back yard.

The problem isn't even the batteries not lasting, it's the constant clogging up due the wet grass.
That would affect most mowers. Rare do you cut wet grass (normally) and if it were long then it is standard to raise up, cut, lower and repeat.

Got mine at the start of the grass cutting season this year and im very impressed. If you're on top of the garden then a 4ah battery will cut many gardens in one quick hit. I have three batteries - two legit and a knock-off on Amazon (literally for a third the price of legit) and I rarely use the third one at mine unless I've had a lazy month. I think I timed the 4ah to run for 14 minutes of continuous cutting in two weeks growth. I might be wrong, I tried to purge such statistics after realising my sad adult life has resulted in timing my mower battery life and measuring grass.

I struggled with my petrol mower for years because the blighter wouldn't die, despite being 29 years old and never being looked after right. The Miley Cyrus of mowers, but it lived on anyway. Going from backbreaking uphill climbs (well, slight incline but it might aswell be with the heavy petrol boi Infront) to briskly strolling around with this was worth the upgrade alone. Light to the point I was worried how cheap and Fisher Price My First Mower it feels in comparison to a real manly, oily, petrol-stink mower. But honestly it's holding up real well even after chewing up the odd rock or crashing into the verge. To single-handedly rotate the mower 180 degrees when I get to the edge is still a joy for the old spine compared to before.

My cutting height lever has some magic ability (read: fault) to go from the highest setting where I left it right down to the lowest without me noticing. I no longer try and do mine in stages even when I've left it a while, just go straight in on lowest but it's not cut out on me yet.

I have one of these and this is a great price. I bought mine recently with the 20% off eBay.
. Just a heads up. It's great if you have relatively short grass. Sadly, we'd just moved into a house and it hadn't been done for quite some time. I had to set it to the longest setting, mow the lawn. Then take it down to the shorter setting and do it again. Basically, there's not enough torque from the battery powered motor compared with a battery or petrol variant.

Fantastic little mower this, used it for years now and it’s great.

Bought the starter pack with this mower as it was on offer at my local homebase.
Fair enough I don’t have the most extensive experience with multiple mowers but this was a fab mower. Light, quiet and does a good job without tearing up the lawn which I’ve had with a previous mower before. I believe this will come with a “mulcher” tool as well if that is off interest?
I’ve used this on damp grass and its been fine with no hassle but it does clog up and struggle with taller patches. You’ll find that you’ll need to trim it down before hand either with a strimmer or using highest setting and then giving it a few passes.
Battery wise I use the 5amp and it drains just under half and I have a relatively small garden so bare that in mind. Also the big downside for me is that this mower lasted 2 years and now wont start up (its not the battery as it still powers my other ryobi tools) but that is more likely due to negligence (mower lived in a garden box and inside a damp garage as well as go through a house move) rather than a general fault you’ll find if you take care of it

Not got one, but friend says it's ace, if you keep on top of cuts.

Good price but the lawnmower itself is poor. Had one for a couple of years and will be replacing it. Cut height selection isn’t great and doesn’t go short enough. Also, if you have it on the lowest setting, it doesn’t empty into the collection box properly and clogs up so you have to empty it about 1/3 full. On the plus side, has been fine this year at cutting my dead grass
