I saw this in their Cyber Monday line up first thing this morning but only had the £220 with no £165 text and wandered how it was a deal.

Not bad at all at this price with a free tool (was a knockout at £140 last Cyber Monday but the base price has gone up since).

11.88% cashback on Quidco (premium) and 12% TCB (premium) edit now fallen since Monday so lower rate. (edited)

How do you get the free tool? No mention of it on the link as far as I can see?
Someone has posted link below to Ryobi page to claim. You will need digital receipt to upload and picture of barcode from box. If getting delivered make sure it has the box as last year some came without - all the tools are packaged in the bag and box is just an outer sleeve but has bar code. It’s same on all so if missing someone here can probably share.

You choose your free tool from selection as part of process filing receipt.

Tool will be sent on when verified and was pretty quick afterwards. (edited)

Excellent set. This is how I got started on Ryobi. I've just started upgrading to Erbauer on some tools as my house renovation requires tools a bit tougher than Ryobi, but this is a great started set for a DIYer
I wouldn't class the B&Q/Screwfix exclusive (own brand?) Erbauer as superior to Ryobi, IMO.

I have used Ryobi one+ tools for well over 10 years as a property developer. I still have them all, not one has failed. Have had Dewalts fail after only a couple of years. Ryobi have been given the DIY status but I would buy them over DeWalt anyday
I've had a Ryobi fail, jigsaw after about 18 months ownership. They sent somebody out to pick it up and replaced it with a brand new one. No hassle, no arguments, so even if they do go wrong, they are still good.

Any more details on the free tool promo?

Good deal, would probably go for the sander out of the freebies, but too entrenched in bosch pro to move away!

I bought this last year for £140, and successfully claimed a free tool... The high capacity battery charger. Good kit, it's gone up, but everything has.

Got this exact deal from B&Q last year (also whilst free tool promo with Ryobi was going on) and it is a fantastic starter kit (get yourself a sander or something from the free tools).
It did however start my downward spiral into the wold of one+ meaning my kit has now grown substantially and bank balance shrunk!
Great for DIYers - I got it as I was moving house at the time and needed some new gear.

Got a similar deal last year...garden blower was my "free gift". Good middling tools which would suit most DIYers at a nice price.

Quick tip for anyone buying to register all the tools within the month to get the extended warranty. This includes the free tool. I’d do it start after receiving as I meant to do later and forgot on some of these. You can register them in one batch off same receipt but do have to go through each tool and battery.

Should be able to get a further £5 off this when registering for B&Q club

Ordered!! This seems like a cracking deal when combined with the Christmas offer too!
    What christmas offer?

48873468-WLZkz.jpgIs this pack defiantly in the '12 tools of Christmas Promo" - I can't seem to match the product code from the Ryobi list of items in the promo to the B&Q site?
    Aha - found it in the T&Cs : R18PDID2CSP-220S

A lot there, but the circular saw does NOT like batteries under 4Ah (just struggled with my 1.5Ah batteries).
Ended up getting a corded one. I should have kept it as I now have 4Ah batteries and have heard it works much better with them.
No idea why that's the case. (edited)

Anyone order this with cashback and having issues? Mine didn’t track despite clearing my cookies before starting whole order process.

Raised a support ticket saying it wasn’t tracking after a day or so as find with B&q it’s either very quick or not at all. Told to wait 7 days in case it appears. I had a load of discounted vouchers I could have used but didn’t to keep tracking as vanilla as possible. After 7 days still no tracking so as told then raised a claim which was then put on ice for 2 months to give more time to track!

Put it on Facebook MP for fixed price of £180 and if no takers will return. Fortunately saw this coming so bought a second one with vouchers so if had got cashback on this would have broken up and sold for more (although a lot of hassle). Need to work on resisting bargains I don’t need! (edited)
