Clearly you've not owned this then. I fully refurbished our house, refurbished my wifes salon, did an extension, built a workshop with this at my side. Not to mention all the additional jobs it did in between and it's still going strong.
The pic of the deal should be replaced with this one..

Nah..
These are great. Mine has taken an absolute abusing over 5 years and still going strong. Battery not as good as new but still holds enough to get a majority of jobs done.
Misleading picture!
Bare tool in title may help. May be a good deal, I don't know, but I was looking for a Black & Decker last week and you get it with a battery for this price.

I still have my old blue ryobi one set, and a few of these yellow tools, one set of batteries and charger for everything I use is great. You can can cheaper unbranded batteries now on ePay and Amazoing so you don’t need to pay a fortune.
You can also can-can if you can
Highly recommend this - coupled with a decent battery and good drillbits goes through brick on my house (1950s tough as nails build). I'm using a 5ah battery and bosch blue multisurface bits

In Ryobi, go brushless or you will be disappointed
The cryobi days appear to be a thing of the past. This range has been good, many positive reviews out there. However many trades still slam them, reliability issues are hard to forget! Ryobi is now under the Milwaukee umbrella so expect to see some decent kit at affordable prices. For me, Makita is the way forward for price and reliability.
Come on mods, amend this as it’s misleading. It’s fine to put accurate info in the description but it would have been just as easy for the OP to have put the correct image and title in the post in the first place. In fairness to the OP, as a bare unit this is about the cheapest you’ll find but no fantastic offer really (Amazon £43.95). Crazy previous claimed £87.95.

I may take your advice, until that time however.........
Bought this as it came up on my keywords thing... Excellent price. Still looking for a deal on batteries and a charger though... Will post if I can find one! :-(

Ah thanks very much, awesome price!

Aaaaaaaannnd it's gone! Haha. Ah well. I was hoping to get a larger capacity battery, bit would have bought that anyway. I have a Hedge trimmer I need to power and a large amount of hedges to cover, preferably looking at 2.5ah or above. Good call on cash converters though, had been watching eBay and Amazon, as well as power tool suppliers, but hadnt thought of that!

I actually have bought the bare bone one on this thread too, so only need the battery and charger. Otherwise I will definitely upset the missus.

I haven't had much success with Ryobi batteries. Two have failed, probably through lack of use ! One was replaced by Ryobi the second one is too old. Can You reccomend an alternate make that is reliable please, Thanks

Never had a problem with mine. Used it regularly over the past 5 years for DIY jobs.
I bought this drill from Tooled-Up a few months ago due to me breaking my old one
No compaints.
New model is much better than the old one
If you're using a drill a lot, then buy the brushless version instead and your batteries will last longer.

Ive had this plus a hammer drill for 5 years and found them reliable and Ive worked on 3 houses using them
So long as one isnt abusive and use the tool,as with any tool, correctly they work and work.
5 amp batteries are available at modest prices too,
I'd get this because it seems great value, but I only use a drill once every 5 years on average, then I have to phone up someone and get them to do the job properly, so I guess the convenience of this drill is a bit lost on me. I'm the type of person that wonders what happens if you hold the fat spinny bit of the drill and press the on button, this is why the NHS has no money.

Yeah it looks like they are all the same as the one I got. Just different brand name. I would take time to look through the reviews, the one I got works fine, but a few others on there haven’t been as lucky. Good luck.

I will probably wait for the make You said. I bought a cheap Aldi drill in the meantime with two batteries for less than the cost of the ryobi battery, Seems to work ok . Thanks Again.
