The worst thing to have on any power tool is a cord to hold you back, and one of the most inconvenient tools this can happen on is a trim router where balance and control is most important.

That's why Ryobi have brought to market a first in cordless technology - the ONE+ 18V cordless trim router!

This router features everything you would expect on a conventional trim router - minus the cord. The base is aluminium with a clear acrylic base which can be removed if necessary and also features micro adjust so you can get the perfect cutting height.

The battery sits on the top of the tool where there is a large textured rubber grip for ease of control.

  • 6mm & 1.4" collets included
  • Micro height adjust
  • Clear acrylic base for maximum visibility
  • Textured rubber grip for comfort and control
  • Linear edge guide included

Material - Metal, Plastic, Rubber
Corded or Cordless - Cordless
Batteries included - No
Type of batteries required - Ryobi ONE+ 18V

My local homebase is crap, never has any if these deals.
Ignoring the colour, does anyone else think this looks more like a coffee maker instead of a router.
3 in stock in my home town but not something I need even though I have other Ryobi gear.

Everytime these Ryobi deals land my local has the item. I reserve. Then get a 'there's a problem with your order' txt
I may give that a try and see what happens. It has some decent reviews on the Amazon.

I’m expecting this as i looked last week and didn’t see any
Went in as I was close by for a battery that had 9 of. Zero in store. Poor stock management.
Boom! Thank you (still awaiting a message though)
I have been told to get a router with a 1/2inch bit but ryobi don’t do one one that size, so i’m going for it anyway.
Basically you can buy an adapter from 1/2inch to 1/4inch but not the other way around.
This is a very decent tool and at a great price. I bought one few years back for £85 and have renovated a house with this being used over the whole job.

It’s not as fast as a corded model as you’d imagine but it’s very convenient and small.

You will need to buy a decent set of routing bits to go with it. The sharper and tougher the better, don’t waste your money on cheap bits. This with sharp bits is very good.

Heat all the way to the bank

I bought a Ryobi chainsaw that was on offer because I’ve got a few tools already. But I live in an apartment in a city and have no trees.

That’s how they get you.

Get this router if you can though it’s amazing and small.

Great deal, I've been waiting for these to come down. Just reserved one but there was only one left. Hopefully they have checked their stock properly but I'm a bit worried how people have said they've had problems before.
No delivery available? However, strangely, 20 in stock in Newport Wales, none anywhere else . Fortunately I'm passing there tomorrow!
Wouldn't want to go back to using a chisel for fitting door hinges.....
Thanks Hi-Hjk
Ps I use a battery converter from DeWalt to ryobi.

Wow this website is dangerous

The Homebase site is
Crashing with all the high demand
Finished deal
I’ve one reserved to collect at local store now need to find a starter kit for it.
Never once had one of these deals... Always a message the next day saying there's been an issue with the order. Worth a try, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too much!

Must be a lot of shoplifters in your area, or perhaps the staff have sticky fingers too
Links broken for me.
They seem to have taken the link down, is just redirects back to the homepage unfortunately.

Same at 3 big midland city's.
Yeah homebase classic, order it then later gets cancelled. They should be closed down long time ago.
Problem with Homebase I think is that the website stock level is ~3 hours behind realtime. Once an order is reserved they have 3 hours to pick the customer order but it doesn't update on the website. Also the products scan through at different prices at different stores. Can pick up a bargain if you're lucky but most of the time you will get a cancellation email / phone call.

Didn't realise you could get a converter from Dewalt to Ryobi. Now I'm interested as it's worth a punt for this price but none left in stock. Just my luck.

BTW where did you get your battery converter?

Yeah only in store last week and not in all stores
Yeah, dead link and doesn't come up on search.
Can't find it online - link just goes to Homebase homepage (couldn't find it online last Saturday either when @wmian786 posted).

Well done to those that managed to reserve one via the website tonight (hopefully Homebase won't cancel, check before travelling that they have the product ready for you).

You can also try ringing up tomorrow morning and checking stock/reserving when they open using the SKU/barcode

I’ve had a text to say mine is ready for collection and I’ll check instore to see if there is any left.
I’ll be collecting from Irvine if anyone local wants me to check that is.
Went and collected today, they were funny with the price until I showed them my email confirmation stating the reservation price #WIN!
