Great tool. Remember if you're already invested in DeWalt or Makita then you can buy badaptor battery adaptors to use this tool with.
Best of both worlds, DeWalt/Makita for everyday tools, Ryobi for the niche stuff.
What I can't find is a Ryobi adapter to use Ryobi batteries on either Makita or DeWalt. Have you seen any?

i got this when it was about 25 quid sometime last year. ive got loads of ryobi tools and batteries so it was a no brainer. ive used it far more than i thought i would. it replaced a corded glue gun which i never bothered to use - having the convenience of a battery obviously made all the difference.
Having used this one, do u think the upgrades of the new model would be worth spending an extra £20 on? As far as I can tell it's just the fold out drip tray, 2 heat modes and the changing colour of the power light when up to temp.

One of my most used Ryobi tools, hot glue fixes everything!

I got one a few weeks back mine has a high and low power mode. Used it first time today, so much easier having power at hand
