I have been following these for a while and even used on ebay they sell for more than this price. Great piece of kit with 270nm torque and a nice addition to your tools if you already have battery kit.

I voted hot, how is this not a deal and currently the best price. Shame …I voted hot, how is this not a deal and currently the best price. Shame for OP

agreed.

”I don’t need this my drill/driver has a screw setting” is what everyone who has never had an impact driver says.

”why didn’t I get one years ago” is what everyone says the day after purchase.

What is the difference between this and a drill/driver?

Do wish I had bought the brushless one got the brushed one as it was £30 at Homebase well worth the money HEAT
That’s one powerful cordless drill 270nm torque. Voted hot.

Noise. Wake the dead and baby 2 doors down. Can't really drill with it although I do with flat wood bit. Don't have a standard chuck as hex. Raw power to drive screws and bolts with a ratchet hammer. Most here won't have a use for it
I've just ripped apart a used pallet and reused it to build a planter. I was actually thinking this morning (genuinely) that the impact driver is my best and most used power tool (I have an old Ryobi cordless - as in 15yrs old). It hammers as it screws (!!!) which results in a very secure connection. Even used it to secure plasterboard to stud walls - versatile!
Love mine it's a kick ass tool to own. Invest in good bits and screws and it makes so many jobs dead easy. This thing will drive screws through just about anything. Even water pipes. Can vouch for that.

Impact drivers detect when the screw has stopped turning and instead of just stripping the head off they start hammering them round - the effect is very noisy and it bashing away at the screw instead of constantly turning will drive it through things like butter. The caveat is the bits need to be strong and the screws not cheap nasty things. As someone said above once you go down this road you will has a WTF was I doing before moment.

Additionally women will find you more attractive.
