I'm new to this range of products I don't know if this is a good price or not, I'll see how hot or warm it gets with comments
this is a very good price but i was looking at these last month as the other batteries that i have had very little power.i bought an after market version for less than 20 quid and is brillant in the chainsaw. as most seller would not deliver this to northern ireland, funnily enough ryobi are based in northern ireland anyway.

I concur, i love the ryobi gear since i was gifted the impact driver, now im adding to it regularly, thanks to this site, but as for the batteries, I'm going for the "after market " at less than half the price!

I do wonder how much better would a Ryobi battery be compared to the same capacity replacement battery. I have been using 2 5.0Ah replacements and just purchased 2 more and am very happy with them so far. Still, I wonder if the original counterparts offer significantly better battery time or not...

2 Flylinktech at 5.0Ah and 2 Dosctt batteries at 5.5Ah. The Dosctt batteries I ordered couple of days ago, have not received them yet.

I stumbled upon a YouTube video where this American did a battery (pun intended) of tests on aftermarket batteries, & there was indeed a difference, (you get what you pay for) but the summary was basically that unless you use them constantly & regularly it's not really worth the extra cash.
Why so much for 4ah battery.? Can get makita or bosch 4ah battery for £35-£40.

I wondered the same, and et voila! YouTube has a video to give you the answer.
