Haha, its for light work only, i know many people who think these cheap drills etc will do fine for projects and small jobs, but they break quickly. You can get a cheap dewalt etc that would last better. I am a tradesman so use drills etc heavy and alot so only use dewalt. My workmate bought this drill and a multitool and its not much use, multitool broke very quickly and it wasn't heavy use.

Not that I totally disagree but I'm one of the other 99% that only get these cheaper tools and I can honestly say I've never had a tool break on me yet.

What breaks normally that you are referring to?

Cheap drills, grinders, multi-tools (oscillating tool for cutting). By all means buy these, but for that price you can buy a top heavy duty dewalt drill with 2 better batteries, you can buy body only other things cheap on ebay, thats what i do, i bought the dewalt grinder, multi-tool, impact, SDS drill, torch and few others all body only over time and they are way better quality, you could even sell it after a few years if you felt you never used it and make good money on it. But thats just my opinion as a trade that buys my own tools, even ones i dont use often, when i buy battery version on dewalt i use it 10 times more than i ever did with an cheap 230v version

Each to their own. My old dewalt broke and I can't say I was that impressed. My previous Hitachi blew it out the water, it was unfortunately stolen.

I bought a brushless ryobi drill and impact driver and I can't say I miss the dewalt at all.
Ryobi is fine for the money, but if you have dewalt money buy Milwaukee because DeWalt is junk by comparison.

Only dewalt tool i own. Dw745 for site work. Great saw.. everything else Milwaukee and festool

Dewalt be the cowboys weapon of choice

Disagree, plenty of YouTube videos comparing quality and durability brilliant products.
2 of these left in Newbury store & as it's closing down they're on 30% off.
