Pretty sure this is the cheapest price anywhere by far. Might be better options for the price but if you want something solid and acceptable for a first drone for a child or just to have fun with then it's not bad at all.

love the tello
Great find. Bought the original one before Xmas fro. Argos for £80 . Need a Bluetooth controller to get max experience I think. Using your phone isn't the best

Yea i might purchase one to use with it. I wouldn't want to fly a drone with a touchscreen.

Oh yea, i might as well use my PS4 controller haha.
The Tello was my first drone! Highly recommended if you are just starting out in the drone world and want to see if this is for you.

I'll stop droning on and let you decide 😁

Thanks for that tip. Do you know if there's a guide on this set-up? (Got my son the edu version for Christmas and the phone control is better than I expected)

Don't u have a telescope for that type of thing?
Save your money.. buy anything else. I'm assuming the app for this is as bad as for the normal Tello.

The Support (from Ryze despite what the box may say about contacting DJI, who have nothing to do with this product other than supplying some of the tech under licence and will simply tell you to contact Ryze) is non existent.

The list of supported android phones that it officially works with is about 9 devices, and of those about 2 now work.
If you have Android 10 the app force closes on startup, Ryze have known about it for 9 months, and haven't done anything about it, despite 7 of the 9 phones they list as compatible being updated to Android 10.

You can get them working (on more than the supported phones) with a £5 third party app.. but you shouldn't need to. Ryze should be supporting their products.

Actually, the version of the app for this drone doesn't have the same problem. It works.

So while I appreciate the comment, it's actually incorrect.
Back to £80 on Amazon...

True but if you want and stable indoor drone that does flips this + 5£ app is the best out there.

If you don't care for flips, xiaomi mitu is a good choice which is typically £40-50 (i got for £36 from joybuy 6 months ago, but the same with ryze, android 10 don't work and i had to wait to use my partners phone to use it, (no alternative app)

unless you can offer an alternative the point is moot

He's not wrong about android 10 though?

Both apps work fine on my pixel 4 running Android 10.
