      Is the bios update included?

38101058-wVt6W.jpgEven if it inst its a fairly simple process takes 5 minutes.
The B450 Tomahawk has bios flashback. Just did this yesterday and was impressed how simple this is without a processor or ram.
You download the bios update on another computer, unzip the file and send it to your USB, then plug in your USB to your board.
Your board obviously should have the power connectors. Click the flash button, and wait till the light turns off.

Given its listed as "Prebuilt and configured. Just Install into your PC Case and away you go!" I'd imagine they would test it and leave the CPU in the socket for shipping. So yes the BIOS update would be done.

Das guut price, tempted to build around this for the sake of it

The 3600 is an excellent CPU, good board too. Great deal
Hi, will this bundle be ok with my Zotac 1080 TI?
Also does this come with CPU fan in bundle? If not, then can anyone recommend a decent air cooler fan for this bundle pls.

      Many thanks

There is a fan in the picture, so I'd hope so.

I'm no expert but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work with any modern graphics card?

Was concerned about bottleneck like on my current build. I think someone said its to do with the amount of PCIE lanes or something on my mobo. (No expert in this area..)
What would the warranty be as isnt this technically an open box/used product? Is the CPU used an OEM or retail part?

Our comprehensive 3 Year warranty includes labour and parts cover, fault finding and repair over a 3 year period.

Return postage costs for faulty items are covered for the initial 90 days of product ownership.

We also provide Life-time Technical Support - so even if a fault develops after your 3 year parts cover period has expired, in fact, regardless of time-frame, we will still try and fix any issues, or at the very least diagnose the cause and advise you of required component upgrades.

You can then take advantage of our low component prices and have our expert technicians perform the upgrade for you.

Also unique to AWD-IT and included in our warranty is Remote Desktop Support which can effectively diagnose up to 90% of non-hardware issues, without the need of returning the item. (Your PC must have the ability to power on for this aspect to be used).

We understand our customers require the peace of mind provided by extensive warranty cover. That's why we developed our Platinum Protection Plan, provided with any AWD-IT or ADMI PC and/or component bundle, which covers each component against any hardware fault for a full 3 Years from the date of delivery. In the unlikely event of a fault occuring during the this time, we will swap the part for replacement - for the first 6 months at no return cost.*

      * Exclusions to cover:
      - Software issues or faults caused by accidental damage are not covered under the warranty.

      - PC repairs/modifications not performed by ADMI Limited will void the warranty.

      - Damage incurred due to poor packaging when an item is returned to us is not covered. If being returned for a refund, a charge will apply to replace damaged parts. We strongly recommend customers keep the original packaging to prevent damage upon return.

(Adding certain internal components may not necessarily void a PC's warranty, however any issues which may arise from the addition of 3rd party components are not covered by the PC's warranty).
      Hot.
Apparently one of the (very few) AM4 boards that work with the HTC Vive wireless adapter too
Went for it. Hopefully should go nicely with my prime day Ballistix memory.
Just need a new graphics card now.

Here's a cheap case Probably not the best but i reckon it will do the job.
      Can add 16GB 3000MHz DDR4 for another £58.99. Total of £340.78.
Adding up the cheapest prices on PC Part Picker comes to £356.97.
Appreciated, but I've got a ~£100 case I really like. I's deliberately small so I can take it to LANs (although TBF this has been replaced by my gaming laptop so I might weigh up a change depending on the cost of a decent it's/m-atx mobo). Was just me having a brain fart.
Guessing most people would go for this processor over the 9600k?
      Thanks for posting

Depends really. The 9600K would be better if all you are doing is playing eSports type games and nothing else as it still offers better performance in those areas and overclocks much better. The 3600 would be a better buy if you are looking for a mix of gaming and CPU intensive productivity.
Damn it, literally ordered this from Amazon this week for £45 ish more
They have a lot of 3rd gen bundles!

Max boards will have a larger size for bios to accomodate future releases. But cant find max boards for sale anywhere
May as well get 2600x for much cheaper
Is it worth waiting for max boards?

Is it worth waiting for max boards?

Not really no. The things sacrificed for the BIOS update in the old boards are things that people really don't care about (graphics on the front screen, support for very low end redundant CPU's). No other difference between them and given the cost between them is likely £20+ in the short term its really not worth paying.
i've bought a 2600 and mobo combo from awd-it before. no problems whatsoever. only minor gripe is that they don't include the original cpu and mobo packaging.

I really need help. I always wanted to build my own gaming PC but I see online it's really complicated so much cables to connect to the Motherboard

If I get this I still have to connect Motherboard with cables to other system parts too right like hard drives, PSU, GPU and case fans and power connectors etc?
      Hi,

I am very much interested in building my very first PC.

Can anyone please recommend a build for me, with a £600 pound budget. I am open to increasing my budget if increases its longevity.

      This is my current build:

Right, this is just a motherboard and CPU. You'll need memory and a case. You'll also need a PSU to connect to the motherboard and HDD's, GPU, etc. Then you connect the front i/o stuff, HDD's, to the motherboard. It's really quite easy once you know how. It's not a steep learning curve or anything. Plenty of guides online.

Maybe my maths skills are not up to scratch, but I'm pretty sure, £58.99 will take the total up to £340.78, instead it would be £328.98, AWT add-on items are shown excluding VAT.
