BF 9 weeks and 1 day away. Might be worth holding out though not sure there will be a tremendous saving over this price. Will it even dip below that £299.99 by Xmas/NY?

How much lower could it go? I don't see a reason for them to do it but I'm not that great at predicting the market. The rumours of a 3900 might move the prices but that's just guesswork. I think they're well priced at the moment and with the countless motherboards to choose from, AMD really have it covered.

The strength of that £ in your pocket is another unpredictable factor..

wait 9 weeks and save a pound a week or buy now and enjoy for 9 weeks + more

Tricky decision!

Well, yeah, of course....providing you've already got all the other essential parts or order them pronto
For laziness (with any bios updates needed) and saving 10 quid isn't something like below better value ?

With 32GB of ram it comes in at £545.98 which stills seems like a great price ?
The longer you wait the closer it gets to the next line of Ryzen CPU's. I bit the bullet a few weeks ago at £320 and haven't regretted it since, literally changed my PC gaming experience for the better by miles! It's payday soon, now's the time to buy! haha
Can anyone recommend a decent motherboard and ram to go with this please?

Is it worth going for the x570 chipset, or is that just overkill?

Won’t that need a bios update with a previous generation Ryzen processor to work?

You need to update the BIOS, but you can do it via USB without an older CPU.
FYI guys, this is available at ARIA PC for £301.98 inc delivery

That does seem like a decent deal if you don’t need X570 and are happy with their choice of ASUS B450 motherboard.
Do they do any BIOS updates and test these bundles before sending them out?

This is now probably top of my list- not sure if I need a 570 as not going to be over clocking much etc
What I am waiting for now is a 20% off eBay code and I’ll go for this.CCL say that these bundles are Pre-assembled and Tested so they must update the bios to get them working in the first place I thought.
