Decent pre-built machine with good specs all round, I'd probably change the PSU but otherwise it'll be a great gaming PC for many.
Good Price. 580 still decent 1080p card and the 1600AF very capable CPU. 16GB RAM I assume?
You can get a refurb 580 for £100.
Why is that ram expensive? I'm sure there are cheaper options
Nice one this heat added

the 2x8 is expensive atm.... upto the RGB type lol.. 1x16gb is still low.. should be £74 item tbh. but it is what it is,..

so market conditions have made ram +£14 then normal.
Ssd+ £10 was £24 at xmas.
rx580 normal.
psu + £10.....

now £605... yest £575...... theres £588...

usual theres about £22 charge on the stryker..

so gen the cost hasnt gone up on this "prebuilt"... £22 charge hidden by additional cost of market going up per part say.. atm

i use to do this with ds3h which has defo gone up..

anyone who wants one of the refurb nitro RX570 580s n go look under my name, the best package for that aspect is the "BOX" deal with the 1x8gb, u can buy extra elsewhere and add ur own GPU..... that does come with adata ram and whatever ssd.... and is nice n cheap with a refurb GPU....

however this 1600af with a mortar = perfect combo for OC!. cough: Cryorig H7 Single Tower Heatsink with 120mm Fan is in the drop down menu's toooooo.

Damn these increasing prices!!

Damn these increasing prices!!

parts indeed, but the build hasnt, as its allways had around £20-£25 build charge, its just been swallowed up by the increases, on some aspects as said above,....... seems higher for a styker as ive gone 2tb+wif+mortar then no hdd/nowifi/cheap ds3h.

sometimes i do things a little dif to show ideas, each to their own how they go in and edit it.

would this handle 1080p or 1440p decently enough, 60+ fps? Looking at getting a 2k monitor for gaming.

1080p card really. 580 is not much better than a 570 and 1440p will be a stretch in many games. F1 2019, GRID etc will be fine. Borderlands 60fps 1080p, struggle at 1440p. Same for Outer Worlds, depends on the game. YouTube it. 'rx580 3600 1080p gaming' or similar and watch for yourself. You can 'make' any game run at any resolution. But details levels will have to suffer. Good Value middle of the road card to be honest. Given the current climate for pricing, this is good value.. There's potential for 580s to go over the £200 mark next week or two when other stock is gone. Look at the price of APUs? Doubled in 3 weeks!
Its only the first gen Ryzen though.

Ram is expensive right now
I'm looking at building, my poor £££

This is the refreshed 1600 which uses the 12nm architecture instead of the original 14nm the original had. It performs only slightly slower than a 2600, but can be bought for approx £90. So this is a bargain cpu for its performance.
Hi there, looking for some help please to build a gaming PC for my son. This spec looks good although he’d prefer a 1TB SSD (and no mechanical drive). Is there anywhere you’d recommend where I can pick and buy the required parts and then build myself please? Budget is approx £600.
How are their delivery times for the free build, will it normally take over 2 weeks or does it often come before that?
Nice prebuilt, but if you want to build one yourself you can get a much better deal! I literally built my first PC today in 2 hours. 360 for a Ryzen 3600 rx570 8GB Corsair DDR4

It’s a cooler master 500w 80+ PSU, EG MG12 case, B450 M-K motherboard, 1TB hdd , totalled to 360. You need to spend a little time looking on eBay but you can find a good deal. Runs games perfectly

I’ve followed a few of your posts and found them very helpful. I’m looking at a ccl build for my son as his first gaming pc due to spend around £550 -600. Is the WiFi selected on this good enough for gaming or should I go for a more expensive one? Also can you recommend a monitor for £150 or less to go with this type of setup? Thanks in advance.

Wifi is good enough, if u got issues with your wifi it wont be down to the wifi card, itll be down to the signal sent from your router in all honesty if its too far. so perhaps a powerline would be more suitable, theres one on here and than u can ethernet it, its onukhotdeals for £22 "powerline".

The aspect of this build would be perfect for an "overclocker" with the mortar. but also others too who want the higher board aspect.

have u had a look at the deal i posted today by that other firm?

Thanks - no I’ll have a look now. It’s hard to know what what to spend the extra £20/30 on as you can just keep going and before you k is it you looking at nearly double the budget!
Can anyone tell me if this would run games like Forza 4, FIFA 20 & Football Manager 20 ok?
