When you say Windows just needs activating, does that mean no extra cost or just need to find alternative license code?

You will have to buy or add your own windows legal licences.

AWD does sell them, in the drop down which they fully activate and do a full system update and co with driver installs.
or u may wish to add ur own licence. (edited)

Quite funny that these are clearly marketed as gaming PCs yet don't come with a graphics card.

Quite funny that you think you need a graphics card to game.

These have an integrated GPU on the processor. They can play games. Just because they don't play AAA games at 240fps, doesn't mean they can't game. This is a complete package to get someone started on the path of PC gaming. Being elitest helps nobody.

Would cities skylines play on this?

Seriously doubt it without a graphics card. Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and RX 580 (16gb) GPU will run it well for less than this costs. I bought my whole set-up with those for £550 3 years ago. You might be able to get a newer, faster GPU for cheaper too. Check pc part comparison websites

Is this a reasonable build for future proofing and upgrades? A GPU for instance? Can anyone recommend one in the £200 - £250 range that would fit the bill. I understand that wouldn't be top of the line money but is there anything reasonable in that area?

750W Gold by Gigabyte in the menu. (easily take a RTX3070 laters)

GPU in the league of 220-250 (new) atm is AMD 6600. but keep an eye on in jan of 6700/6650xt too. maybe just above top end of ur budget. (edited)

Hey @sarden84 what do you make of this for an 11 year old to game and do homework ?
48936802-Q18PJ.jpg48936802-wSaSe.jpgShould I add or remove anything? Do I need WiFi ? Would really appreciate your advice.

If you use the £550 one that Sarden posted you get a better spec plus keyboard mouse and monitor. He had added how to add windows. Much better value if you need these items
