Example Basis?

What does a 5600G at £295 with the £40 TX550 Booster + £35 1TB nvme booster mean?
If we add Something a such as this:

MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 3X £292.39
Total cost: £662.39

Which is the cost of Costco 5600G / 3060Ti at £669.99 (+£15 membership,)
The key advantage on the costco 1) its installed 2) it comes with windows.

The key to this: it doesnt come with windows for people who dont care, but comes with a better PSU,
TX550 GOLD Corsair Line VS Gamemax 650W Bronze which will suit PSU nerds ;-p

and u can flex it with a B550M more ram, and so on.

And that is just one example, in a VS thats possible.

but we do have the option of looking 1) used GPU market 2) AMD 6700XT, 3) Other Nvidia new Cards 4) and many of the recent discount AMD 6600 6650xt 6700 cards too, so we have so much more flex.

Do remember that this and included the costco one that it is under the 5600G Platform, that 16MB L3. value CPU, that offers a slight more bite than that AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, and runs on 3.0, but its a good value way of playing both ends of the wick, as it has done previously.

I've hovered over the CostCo deal for so long....but I'm after more CPU grunt and willing to take less GPU for a similar price.
I'm not an avid gamer, but enjoy music creation software and like to run a lot of plug-ins.
Will try to build this one up to nearer my ideal.

For a 3060 that comes preloaded with windows its not bad, but that is where it holds the line, comes with windows, soon as u drop that. its quite rubbish.

    Ryzen 4100 -> 4500 -> 5500 -> 5600G is the performance path of the CPU's

    As for GPU:
    AMD 6600 --> 3060 --> 6600xt --> 6650xt --> 6700 --> 6700XT
obvious pro/cons of AMD cards Vs Nvidia in the mix, but raw performance.

palicomp do the 5600G/6600 at £550 with windows n £500 without.AMD Ryzen Value
    - £50 less, nudge drop in GPU, but greater CPU, and £50 less, or £100 less if u forget the win.

how to put the £600 in part value / scrap the win:
    well at £606 (use code BBURGER) u can get a Ryzen 5 5600 / AMD 6650XT / 1Tb
Higher GPU, Higher CPU, and u have scrapped the windows.
    - windows is loaded, just get a cheap key from the net ;P (edited)

What would you recommend PSU upgrade wise if I was to add a 3060Ti or AMD equivalent to this? (edited)

Corsair TX550 GOLD 550W PSU at £40 is great for it, High standard corsair series.,
and perfectly great for AMD Alt,
for anything higher (& +headroom above the ^...) Gigabyte 750W GOLD PSU at £65

I no longer tell friends and family to look for deals on this site.
If too many of them come accross your PC deals you'll put me out of business!

Great starter gaming PC with the option of adding a GPU in the future (a nice little power efficient one like the RX 6600 would still work with the OEM PSU, a little undervolt would help it out a bit), the £40 extra for the TX550 would be great for a good mid-range GPU. (edited)

I have an old i5 4690 system with a 1660ti in it. Tempted to go for the 5700 and slot the ti in. Dont do much pc gaming these days, mostly console, but i’d see better performance im sure (edited)

5700g is a great chip, really fast, 8 cores, and you can run duel graphics with your 1660ti, if the motherboard allows, (which it should with latest bios update), this will mean both graphics sources, Radeon and NVIDIA will show up in device manager, there are several uses for this, and it means the 5700g graphics will not be wasted.
Tutorials are available on how to set up dual graphics using an APU online

what would you recommend for under a grand? Costco deal seems good but as you said there are few cheapo parts in it. I'm fine with a 3060ti and 5600x or should I get a 3070 instead? Just waiting for a right deal.

Hello Mr Sarden. What upgrades would you recommend for mating with the 3060ti graphic card? Would the ram upgrade to 32GB make much of a difference.

Any thoughts on this Palicomp special?

Been hovering over it as it will be the first gaming rig for my daughter & had considered going for onboard GPU originally but the deal on this with the 6600 seemed like a better option & would future proof for a bit longer...would uprate the PSU though to a better Thermaltake option (one of the +£30 options)

AMD Ryzen Value (FAC8) - Palicomp

    Thanks
