You're right your one looks better specially the handle

I think I've got the same tea pot, it's good but the top is metal and can get very hot.

Good price, but a few too many people saying they've not received their items on the seller reviews for my liking.

Thanks for the link to the cups ;)I bought the teapot yesterday for a stocking filler and this makes it look nicer:)

Great find OP - heat. Having read all the reviews, I've gone with the Andrew James version, only because of the guarantee. I read too many things about the Sabichi not withstanding boiling water, hot lids, dripping spouts yada yada so hopefully this one's okay.

Not to sure this is a great deal.. £15 direct from the manufacturer with free delivery.. but thanks for the stocking filler idea. Gone with the Andrew version myself too.

all that metal in the middle will greatly lower temperature :conclusion: a poor infusion

Most Teas and Coffees are not meant to be brewed with 100% boiling water or it ends up burning (82c - 87c is best), so unless you have a temperature controlled kettle then I would think you would have better results.

When I checked manufactures site it said coming soon, so not sure when they will be instock.

looks a great idea, quite a few on offer I will have a look about before I get one

regarding the filter: is it one that clips onto the bottom or is it able to be lowered whilst the lid is on? the reason for asking this is because my cheap Argos one just keeps falling into the water

boulder dash : most important thing is too add milk first then tea/hot water to prevent scalding the mild an impairing the flavor. besides we are British and its a delicate oriental infusion, then we add milk! we are philistine really. most important to have HOT tea not luke warm like these Latte's and preferably in china as that seems to keep the taste optimum

milk first? have you tried getting a decent strong brew with milk already added?... Simply wont happen not even if you stir it for 5 minutes. Jump to 2:30
