I had numerous amount of important data which I can't access. Did buy WD m2 ssd and praying if that would be any better than this brand.

I just checked and it says the price hasn't moved from £169.99 in months?

Was the Rocket Q4 (white & gold one). Spent over an hour arguing with a mod but he kept coming up with reasons why it couldn't be posted. When i pointed out that this seller (1880UK) had well over a dozen deals on here he said thanks for pointing that out i'll delete those as well (he didn't).

So you're writing off an entire (highly regarded) brand because a single product failed? Has your car ever broken down? Shoes fallen apart? Internet gone down? All exactly the same principle. Stuff does go wrong. If it's in warranty then contact the seller/manufacturer and give them a chance to put it right!

Just had to return mine to Amazon after ~ 1 year. Bios not detecting too, tried both slots. Had backups so not an issue, but bit of faff to set everything up again.

With so many free or cheap cloud services available there really isn't any excuse for not having your data backed up. On site and off site is ideal if possible. Having a drive die should be an inconvenience rather than a disaster.

Boss dont need to fight for this. If you regarded this brand for you then good for you, not everyone cup of tea. Comparing a shoes with Ssd, you really need a life. I already contacted manufacturer and no reply so far. If you read their Amazon reviews, top review has same issue which I explained. Not making a backup is my mistake but that is not end of the life and yes breakdown of hard drive or car is inconvenience which no one wants to happen.

I will look on them, lesson learn not to rely on hard drive or these brands but keep a backup.

It's not the brand, any drive can die. Even the very best have a failure rate higher than 0. Some might be more or less likely to but if you're the unlucky one who has a Samsung Evo Plus die you're in the exact same position as somebody who has a no-name dirt cheap Chinese drive die. Both of you have either lost your data forever or can easily restore it from a backup.
if you pay £10 more you get a faster drive

Been this price for months... I know, I've been watching waiting for any kind of decent Amazon UK deal on M.2 SSDs!
The SB-ROCKET-1TB ones that are supposedly faster than these are in quite an abundance on ebay listed as new sealed that are cheaper than this.

I wonder if those are refurbs or not and if Sabrent will honor the 5 year extended warranty?

Hmm...

I am eyeing exactly those ones but they're all sold by private sellers which has put me off incase of warrenty claims. Hmm don't know what to do.

Most of them comes sealed, are they still refurbed?

I’ve just bought two so I will report back if they are what they are supposed to be or if I have been scammed.

I can’t see them being refurbs if they are sealed in the cellophane.
or this on ebay seems cheap too, not sure if we can post these here?

Or even the faster one...

These seem cheap, are they fake, or returns maybe?

That's the exact one i was looking at lol. How do these people even get it for that cheap? It is £130 on amazon. Stolen off a truck?

They have previously been on sale at Amazon for less than £100. Could just be that Amazon are cashing in before the next big sale.
there are variations of the same drive around , sabrent have made changes without changing the code for device etc
Been this price for a while, not really a deal.
Good find @griesem - nice first deal also, thanks for taking time to share
