Excellent price, on one of the ever dwindling number of good espresso machines available in the UK - not sure why this is getting cold votes!

Personally I'd be inclined to buy from Lakeland and ask for a price match, as they offer a no if's or buts lifetime guarantee on everything they sell!
Inbuilt grinder never a good idea...
From what I've read, the inbuilt grinder in pretty good, and parts are readily available so should be serviceable well in to the future.

I see the attraction of separates, but you'll end up hanging around on coffee forums and forever upgrading.... That way madness lies.

For the price, I think this is better value than trying to buy a similar quality coffee machine and solid burr grinder, and with a Lakeland warranty you won't have anything to worry about if something goes wrong even 5 years down the road.

If I didn't already have separates, I'd be *seriously* tempted on replacing my aging Gaggia!
Check all the reviews for this machine, they are great with plenty of instructional videos online.
Got one, it's been brilliant, easy to use and the "bad idea" inbuilt grinder is great. Watch the review on Seattle coffee. Biggest let down was sage customer support. I'd buy another in an instant.

No, but they will usually price match and UK competitor with stock, and their CS is excellent!
Tried before and they wouldnt
I've just emailed them again
They wouldn't do it via online request for me I phoned up and was done in 15 mins. The online request couldn't see the offer of 10% off with the code and when I told the cs on the phone he went I can see it and applied the code.
Wanted one of these for a while now. At £500 I just couldn't justify it but for some reason it seems a steal at £420. Got Lakeland to do the price match too so got the lifetime guarantee.

Time to order some beans from Rave.

Thanks a lot OP. :-)
EXPIRED :-( "The discount code you entered is not an active offer. Discount Code expired on: 24 Jan 2016 23:59"
However the code "SAGE" is now available - 15% off again!
You mean 10%?
Was 15% when I posted... I even added it to my basket to check! Now only 10% *sigh* Maybe a 15% off will come along again...
It appears that the 15% discount has now been moved to their sister website "The Hut":
Discount code SAGECOFFEE
Original code 'Sage15' working again however price has returned to £549
Hopefully they'll reduce..
Price now £495 but no code
£444 with code
This is working again. Use code "SAGE" for 15% off in addition to the 10% off the original price. Doesn't appear to work on any of the other Sage coffee machines.
Expired! Why there is no button to mark a deal as expired?
