It's a cracking bit of kit. But quite manual. It's an espresso machine with a built in grinder

And it's £439.20 at Hughes with 5% TCB too

But TCB has not tracked yet on my Hughes purchase yesterday

Same model. From the photo, the silver (the stainless look) comes with a free milk jug.

I have this model and would recommend it wholeheartedly at the full £499.99 price. Lots of good reviews on YouTube, etc. I have no proper kitchen at the moment - refurbishing - but my makeshift kitchen comprises of kettle, microwave oven and this machine - I have everything I need!!

Out of stock for home delivery for me

Have this at work, great machine. Really simple easy to use (if you're used to such machines that is). Make sure you spend time setting the grind and espresso duration up!

Can someone let me know what the learning curve is like on this? And how long, once you know what you are doing, does it take to make a espresso / flat white from start to finish? Many thanks

Ive had this for a years and after accidentally buying a nespresso machine, I've stopped using it. The nespresso Tastes just as good and so much easier to clean

Watch one of the many videos.

Itwas too manual for me, may aswell get an espresso machine and a separate burr grinder. I went for a Krups B2C for £235-250

manufactured by breville.

I found that surprising too.

Not the breville you are thinking. Different from the UK company hence it's sold by "sage" in the UK as they don't have the rights here

Love how lazy people are. It takes 30 secs to make a coffee with this machine. Nice and tidy built in grinder so takes up less room.

If you're looking a proper machine like this, then it's safe to assume you know how stale and awful nespresso is.

Not lazy. I would go nowhere near a Nespresso. If you want bean to cup, like I'm looking for this is not it imo. There are more automatic alternatives that use fresh beans and cost half the amount blike Krups or Delonghi

Big fan of this machine, though admittedly not for everyone. I love the hands-on experience (grinding & tamping) and it doesn't take long to make a delicious coffee no matter bleary eyed you are. The hot water dispenser is also handy for a quick cup of tea.

If you have a preference for milky coffees and like your froth it might prove too time consuming, though the results are superb.

Potential buyers should bear in mind that this machine does not have a boiler, but a thermocoil and a pump instead. If you want a proper espresso machine then consider the Rancilio Silvia at a similar price point - home repairable too should anything go wrong, and holds its value incredibly well.

Same price as Currys with 10% code

There are few Rancilio Silvia deals on coffeeitalia site. I have the machine for seven years (and very good B2C next to it) and it is really good and reliable.

On the later machines the element is user replaceable, meaning that if it does fail then the machine doesn't have to be sent away for an expensive time consuming repair.
