This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I’ve been looking to purchase this machine for quite some time.

This is a multi step process to get the deal at this price.

1) You MUST be an American Express Preferred Rewards Gold member and have the 15% cash back Lakeland offer saved to your card.

2) Sign up to my Lakeland where you receive 10% off your first order.

3) I called up to get them to price match against curry’s.

So firstly you get 10% off the £1599 = £1,439.1

Then Amex give you 15% cash back = £1,223.24

I just purchased. I hope someone else benefits from this.

Obviously this will work against ANY purchase from Lakeland, combined with the myLakeland and Amex offer.

Wow what a price
This is how it should be done.
I was looking at this as well, but from internet reading, could not pay extra for this model because it have touch screen, previous model has exactly same without touch screen and cheaper, if u use method above

Absolutely correct - guess it just comes down to preference! Hope you enjoy the purchase whatever you decide to go for!

I wish, dot have Amex, would bite if I had
Hmmm, you can bring the Barista Touch down to £565 using the same trick.

Thanks OP. Was waiting for slash and burn (fingers crossed) in the sales. Now not sure what to do. Cheapest the touch has been is £449 in white, been holding out (possibly in vain) for a repeat

Just go for it. I have the Touch. It's a great machine.

Got it for £719.10 on Amazon, and £150 cash back from Sage. Worth every penny!

Would recommend Hasbean coffee

This is a great price for the Oracle touch
That's a great price. I have the oracle after trying a few different automatic beam to cup machines and it really is an amazing coffee maker and well worth the money.

Personally I couldn't justify paying the extra for the touch screen but that is personal choice.

Great find.
Also, for anyone going for this, it needs to be billed to your Amex by 23/12/19 according to offer T&C's.

So check the transaction is there by then before using the machine.

I'm close to capitulating

But I need to torture myself over expensive elective purchases like this to create some lag/delay. Or i'd end up spending a fortune, because something else will replace this on my "I want it" Radar once I buy

I've just registered for mylakeland. How do they send the 10% off voucher? Or does it come of automatically from your first order?
Hi AhmedMatar, Do i need to wait for the 10% welcome code to be posted in the welcome pack they mail to your the house or is it a generic code, is so could you share it so i don't have to wait?

Update - I just spoke with Lakeland on chat and they have to post it. Only 2days left on Amex offer so looks like I'll miss out - shame as I really want this

Just done the same

Looks like its only a go for existing mylakeland members.
@Muddyboot@Mentos For new MyLakeland members, you can actually ring them up and they will honour the 10% percent discount over the phone even if your 10% voucher has not arrived in the post yet.

I did the above, rang Lakeland and they applied the 10% discount over the phone. I actually went for the Sage Oracle without the Touch screen as I figured the Touch feature is not required for me personally, the normal Oracle without Touchscreen can do everything that the touch version can in terms of coffee making and has more control features too but with the Touch screen version you can name the coffees by the persons name and set them up for each person as to how they want their coffee e.g. latte (Mum), cappucino (Dad), etc - useful in a large household.

Lakeland price matched the Oracle to £979 the current price at the Hut retailer. With the 10% off I bought it for £881.10. As a new member of Amex Everyday Cashback card I get 5% off that amount as cashback too. And the 15% off Amex Lakeland offer gives a further discount of £132.17 on the purchase price. So total price just over £700 for the Sage Oracle. Good stacking if you are an Amex member. The thing to be careful with is that the Amex 15% lakeland offer has to be billed to your Amex by the 23rd.

Was it new? From what shop?
All worked as described. I joined mylakeland, left it 30mins, and activated the lakeland deal on my Amex. Then called Lakeland, they price matched currys to £1599 (not John Lewis who had a slightly different product code). They then applied a 10% discount for my first order.

Order has to be delivered to home address, and is guaranteed for delivery before christmas.

I was worried the transaction may not go through on time, but I received an alert on my phone immediately with the charge, followed by an email from Amex confirming the 15% cashback.

All good, and a nice discount. The Lakeland return policy looks amazing too, though I hope not to have to use it.

Glad to hear it worked for you, as it did for me! Fingers crossed the pending charge settles on the Amex by the 23rd! that’s the last piece of the offer!

Exactly what is this deal ?
@wakkaday There may still be time, but the transaction has to move from Pending state to accepted state by the 23rd and it might not. It's risky. You could wait and get the 10% discount when Sage announce their trade-in offer as well, I think they did this last year on the 24th. Just google Sage Trade-in offers...basically Sage give you a credit of £200 off the Sage Oracle. All the main Sage dealers will offer the Sage trade-in discount such as John Lewis. You will see it advertised on their sites.
Great first deal Ahmed, Hot.

Yes, from John Lewis
ljurgaitis21/12/2019 18:37

Was it new? From what shop?

Brand new, white, John Lewis.

You didn't even have to trade one in as such, just take a picture of it and send over to them via email.
Was £449 sorry, just checked the deal thread.

It was £599 from JL, then £150 cashback from Sage.

Nice
Wow people are prepared to pay 1500 for a consumer coffee machine, I mean I like my coffee but thats taking it to another level! Thats about 2 coffees a day for a whole year at my local premium coffee place I get my coffee in the morning to work! I'm sure its a great bargain but for me it seems a lot to spend on a coffee machine! Perhaps I'm not earning enough!
@nickdeals@tomhafiz anyone else watching their Amex app for the charge to flip from pending to charged?

Perhaps you don’t earn enough, or more likely how you choose to spend what you earn. You prefer to buy coffee ready made, others like to brew at home. We’re still spending the same amount of money on coffee, which we love, just in different ways.

Some people pay £100 per month for a full sky package, but wouldn’t dream of spending £4.00 on coffee in a premium barista cafe. It’s not the cost, it’s the value to the individual.

Either way, we all like a a good deal or else we wouldn’t be on here.

Happy Christmas Dominic.
