If you're going to go for a Sage machine, spend a little extra for a dual boiler one which can steam milk at the same time as making the coffee

It's all down to budgets as you pay a bit more then a little bit.. but I agree a dual boiler saves a bit of time
Great coffee machine, had ours for 4 years now. Customer service is excellent as well, we had an issue and they sent an engineer the same day to fix it.

I would have liked to do this but at the time I bought mine for £350 the dual boiler wasn’t just a little extra, it was more than double the cost!

I know I have a single boiler delonghi and the dual boiler would be good but let's be honest it take less then a minute to change to steam. So it all depends on your pocket if that minute is needed

If you’re making more than a couple of drinks regularly then it becomes a pain with a single boiler. The newer express pro has a much quicker boiler heatup though which might be a reasonable compromise though (that was £600 when I last checked I think). Still not worth it for me as two coffees does the wife and me, our 3year old definitely doesn’t need caffeine in her life yet...!

Yeah it still takes the same time to make the two coffees so it's just a extra minute or less to steam up. And I'm the same its 2 max coffees at a time....anymore then that the kettle goes on for instant
I have this and it is a fantastic coffee machine. This is a brilliant price too
So what you lot saying? This is better than my £20 aeropress ?!?

Been....or should I say "bean" there with them.
And most definitely yes as I had a panic attack earlier when I thought mine was buggered. I just could not go back to one of them..

Haha filofax - classic
Last year I bought the entry level model, the small one for £180. Not dual boiler, but still it’s bloody brilliant and I love it.

Depending on your budget, yes get a dual boiler, and surprisingly their integrated grinder seems to do a good job.

The entry level model doesn’t have a grinder, so that’s an extra £120-140 for their grinder, when on sale, but I was fine with that because I bought a broken burr grinder on eBay and repaired it.

Just a shame that their water filter replacements are quite pricey for what it is. Would be great if there were third party models but there aren’t. Though I think I’ve managed to make it last longer just using a water from a Brita jug.

Don’t forget people, order your beans from a proper coffee roaster instead of buying them from the high streets. Taste so much better.
