A great tasting espresso or cappuccino is about the right balance of sweetness, acidity and bitterness. This is achieved at 93ºC, but texturing milk requires much hotter temperatures.

Extreme bitterness is a risk if your machine doesn't manage to cool itself down between texturing and your next espresso shot. The Duo-Temp Pro ensures this never happens for the perfect cup of coffee every time.

By purging cold water though the heating system, the Duo-Temp Pro is able to perform optimal coffee extraction. This combination of low pressure pre-infusion and temperature control ensures balanced flavors in your cup.

Key features:

  • Hot Water function dispenses hot water from steam wand spout for Americanos & pre-heating cups
  • Cup warming tray to help maintain the espresso’s optimal temperature
  • Concealed storage tray to house accessories
  • Removable drip tray with 'empty me' indicator to prevent water overflow
  • RAZOR Dose Trimming Tool: Patented blade trims down the puck to the right level for consistent extraction
  • Commercial style steam wand with 360 swivel action for effortless milk texturing *BPA Free – All parts that come into contact with coffee & water
Included accessories:

  • Razor™ Precision dose trimming tool
  • 54mm stainless steel portafilter with commercial style spouts
  • 4 units of 54mm filter baskets
  • Integrated removable tamper
  • 16 fl.oz (480ml) stainless steel milk jug
  • Cleaning tools: cleaning tablets, silicon cleaning disc, and Allen key
  • Water filter holder & replaceable water filter to reduce impurities and scale build-up

Total bargain! I've had this for a few years and it's the best machine in this price range hands down. WAY better than my Gaggias and De Longhis.
Great deal for a fantastic machine.
It doesn't show that it's on sale on JL website, this appears to be it's usual price unless I'm missing where the reduction is?

Ok, it's just in the OP it says there's a 40% reduction
I ordered the Sage (Breville) Oracle One Touch (comes with a touch screen) in black and silver after hearing good things about these machines!
Why does it say Espresso? Surely you can do latte as well with this machine, right?

Because it's essentially an esspresso machine with a steam wand, the steam wand allows you to make milky coffee.

This is a cracking deal, heat!

It is a great machine for the price and you can't find anything cheaper that will match the quality of espresso, also the steam wand can produce decent micro foam for latte art.

Pair it with a used eureka mignon and you have a great setup.

Keep in mind Sage don't sell replacement parts (or didn't when I owned one) , so it's useless if it breaks our of warranty.. But not a lot to go wrong on this model, so looked after should last a very long time.

Original price was £379 (no idea where the £349 comes from), so £229 was a 40% discount, £209 is closer to a 45% discount now
sageappliances.com/uk/…tml

But, HUKD normally show the next best price not RRP, and that's £229, Personally prefer it this way, but it's got to be consistent either way

Same price on Amazon now -amazon.co.uk/gp/…h=1

There's another Sage coffee machine which is more expensive than this.

hotukdeals.com/dea…734

The price hike is quite big for me and I am not sure which one I should go for.
We would only have 2-3 cups of coffee a day at max and currently use a Tassimo pod machine (with Costa pods) which is awful.
I'd love to get a coffee machine this black friday!

The Batista has been as low as £230 so maybe worth waiting - hotukdeals.com/dea…053

Depends how you plan on using it, I have the duo and is perfect for me, but if you're interested in lattes and the like then the barrister is a lot better. And, if it goes down to that price again it's a no brainer really

Ah, I totally missed that. In that case only concern I have with this one is that the steam is weak if you're into lattes etc

Thanks. I suppose I need a coffee bean grinder with this, do i?

Yeah, I use a separate grinder. Not everyone uses beans though, there are some nice ground coffees out there to try, so it's not required
Ahh yes! Been keeping an eye on it lately for the best price. They’ve been at £239 for a while now although in previous years I think they were £300+.

We don’t really want to pay lots as only drink a few coffees, mostly into latte etc. I know that the wand isn’t the best on this one but I’d say for newbies this is probably still the best choice at its price, right? I mean it’s not like you can get anything better at this price / anything cheaper that isn’t considered rubbish by the coffee community. We still want something decent, buy cheap buy twice and all that.

Edit: ordered

It's a very good machine with some features only found in models costing quite a lot more. You'll like it
Its £199 now
Caved. Too good to resist.

Why do you feel that the steam is weak?
I have a Barista Express (this with a built in grinder) and and make drinks like this

I'm clearly no barista but I'm able to knock out a drink like that.

I’ve got this and I really love it. I’ve had about a year now and use it everyday. Make sure to check TCB to see if there’s cash back.

Just remember to put money aside for a good burr grinder and make sure to order some good coffee from a roaster.
I have one of these too... really good machines!
