I have an earlier Sagem model and it is fantastic. It was a HOTUKDEAL about 18 months ago and I have recorded so much and seen loads of progs I would have missed. The kids have all the Shaun the Sheep and other kids progs that they can watch when they want. Don't even need to locate the CD now.

Is this the same one?

£198.98 on Amazon, think this is the same model

The amazon one is the same model. I bought it in comet for my parents for £222 about a week ago. It got really bad reviews when it came out because sagemcom (new name for sagem) decided to release it in time for the world cup, despite the firmware being unfinished. The new OTA firmware update fixes all of the problems and makes this the best freeviewHD PVR until the humax comes out.

Nice find RichArab and a further 10% discount on wedensday using the code 'BOXESTEN'. A further £19.89 saving, making it £178 odds
I checked earlier and this was more expensive on amazon, hey ho that`s life.

Quite few 1 star negative reports at Amazon. Might be a bargain price but too many people have encountered errors/problems for my liking...

Read either my comment in this thread or the newer reviews from amazon. Sagemcom released a product that wasn't ready because they wanted the world cup sales. It has since been improved greatly via firmware.
