If you want great thermals you should be looking for a mesh front, rather than vented sides such as this one. Adding an extra fan or 2 in the right places will also help and is cheap.

What hardware do you have? It could simply be that you're using a small cooler and thermals will be bad regardless of the case.

Thermals on phantecks p300 it’s known issue due to small air inlets in front , CPU is fine but GPU is getting hot under load, 120 aio on front and 140 Corsair fan + 120 on back and 140 on top.

Btw this case would be a deal with fans and controller , it just to be £39.99 at ebayer.

You shouldn't be using an AIO on the front, you're blowing hot air into the case rather than out. Pumps work best and last longer when the AIO is at the top of the case.

On top of that it's difficult for what little air there is to move through the front mesh and then the radiator.

Move the radiator to the back ideally, or the top. You should see a big difference.

The p300 isn't a great airflow case but your current set up is probably the worst thing you can do

I would move both 140's to the front, the radiator to the top and the 120 on the back.

Remember, you can always undervolt your GPU which can drop power usage by 10-30%. Or repaste the card if it's out of warranty/no warranty sticker.

Totally agree. It's rarely ever going to get hot enough that the few degrees difference any case makes will really matter. Personally I'd go for looks over performance for a case. It's something you'll look at every day!

I go for 20 quid rubbish when I don't reuse the old one. Want to see what it does, not what it looks like.

But horses for courses

That is was the plan with the fans , 1070ti is on stock settings so it might need bit of adjustments like fan curves etc.
Thanks again Salfordgirl1

You can get a 15-20c difference between cases. Cases make a huge difference, to sound levels, temperature and even performance.

There is a few things you could do. Turn you graphics card vertical with a bracket and make sure you have at least 2 120mm front and 1 rear does the trick when using the p300 or buy a new case.

It’s tight too , I barely manage to squeeze 120mm fan there securing with cable ties , p300 is a bad choice and not many bad points are told on reviews. It’s time for new case, I will know what too look for this time. Thanks for your time Salfordgirl1

If you feel like giving Phanteks another go the ECLIPSE P600S (White) is probably my favourite case of 2019 =P £100+ though =(
