bargain hot!

Free wine on outward only. Maybe the French care less about drink driving.

Great offer...hot

Note this seems to be for day trips or single overnight stays only.

bargain and i only live and mile or so from the docks ..

good luck booking online. funny how the prices are higher if you ring them and the website "cant"process your booking. good deal though.

Has anyone been recently? Is it worth going to Calais for a day trip these days? I haven't been in 20 years. Can you get around on foot / public transport?

I had a look online, but many of the calais sites seem to be well out of date - eg they have not removed Sainsburys and Tesco from their lists, even though they closed last year.

P&O standard price for a return foot passenger is £1. No need for Daily Mail code.

I just tried some random dates on their website without a code, and was getting minimum £6.50 each way for a single foot passenger.

i can't see any for £1 without a special offer oO

What would happen if you were to book two day trips say, 10 days apart and not use the return journey on the first booking? Obviously there is a supplement, but how rigidly is it enforced?

not sure if they'd know you hadn't used the return ? can you just do it as two separate journeys as different bookings ?

The T&C you agree to says that you will pay the difference between what you paid and the appropriate, single fare. I don't know if they would enforce this, so give it a go and let us know (if you're prepared to take the risk)

Why not just buy two separate return tickets for beginning and end of journey? I've been but can't remember what they log when you travel.
