Great price but they changed the recipe some years back and it's never been quite as good sadly.

It’s just like it but better.
As good as Reg Leg or I dare say it Kraken?
A good rum, voted hot but waiting for Kraken to be on offer

Excellent. I’ll look out for it round my way. Thanks

That's down to personal preference really but it's decent enough, especially at £10 a bottle.

Hell no! Not in the same league, although at a tenner its not bad. Old J's is the best of all though.
Great price ..Bumbu or Mount Gay are my favourites

Sailer Jerry is far less sweet than Captain Morgan training rum, pair it with a fiery ginger and Bob's your uncle
Has anybody found this in an English branch at this price?

Put a double shot of spiced in the bottom of a glass then put a bottle of crabbies ginger beer on top... excellent !!
Haven't seen this on my travels around my local Tesco stores, but my brother absolutely loves this stuff, will have to keep an eye out.

When I first moved into the city centre 10+ years ago I trekked around all sorts of off sales and supermarkets trying to find Sailor Jerry's - the JJ's on High Street (Glasgow) had it and I paid a few extra £! Now it's everywhere!

I actually think Sailor Jerry is sweeter than captain Morgan's, just started Jerry again recently after a long break and it tastes like a more caramel version of the former, in my opinion.

I find the Captain is too strongly vanilla for me...unless it's sub £2 shots (35ml of course, none of those 25ml ones) at Wetherspoon's, and the mission is to get blitzed
I searched high and low for discounted rum @ my local - no joy. Shame because I’m a rum fan.

Managed to get gin, vodka and red wine all on discount though. So can’t complain. Tesco is really spoiling us with the booze discounts lately
