good find . unfortunately I don't live near one . heat added from me

Hot from me. Never tried Sol before, how good is this.

Will check my local tomorrow and see if they have any.

Picked up bottles of jeramiah weed from home bargains for £1 a bottle plus quite a few bottles of alska cider at £1.59 a bottle from aldi today

Picked one up from Dewsbury this morning, they had around 5 left, but were selling fast.

saw this last night in the hessle branch, plenty of buckets left but no sol!

£8 in asda without the bucket you'll end up binning anyway.

it tastes alright tbh! had it for predrinks once but it was nice

Plenty of buckets left in Newport store but no Sol.

Wow, how many bottles had you drunk when you took that picture OP?

Or 20 becks for a tenner

Its ok. Nothing special.

Sol is quite similar to Corona. Heat.

They are promoting this in Sainsburys Bishop Auckland for anybody interested

Should be nationwide. Bucket looks nice but doesn't weigh much and feels rather cheap - wouldn't want to actually pick it up with beers and ice in. Not going to tear me away from my Old Tom though

Pretty sure they do sparkling water for less than a quid a litre. Buy some....you'll never be able to tell the difference with your eyes closed.

Sol was a top drink 12 months ago and as 1 poster says very close to Corona in quality, unfortunately the powers that be decided to try and increase their margin on the brand so they stopped importing it from Mexico and now get it brewed and bottled in Holland.....and unfortunately its a bloody awful bitter drink that is conning the British public in to thinking that it is still the original Sol that made its name, it may have the same ingredients but it certainly does not have the Mexican water with all its own distinct mineral content that gave the drink its taste and flavour, its not premium no more .........just bang average.

good deal if you still like it so well spotted OP.

Stick with oranjeboom.....

£8 in asda (minus the bucket)

Brilliant!

I used to absolutely love Sol, but it's a pity if it's really changed as people say it has.

I thought it was just me.... i tried sol recently and thought the flavour tasted like a light beer - washed out.

Sad

Oh boo but thanks for the advice (that is isn't a patch on what it was).
