Hot from me and very tempted.............

Upon doing a few checks I don't think you get blender attachment or food processor attachment???

Original Poster

It says it comes with three attachments but it doesn't specify which?

Original Poster

I'm tempted too even though I don't really bake

A reviewer on the Sainsbury's site says it comes with a liquidiser attachment; dough hook, K beater and balloon whisk.

cool might try it out as I got the bosch mum but it's not great, needs to go back this could make a nice replacement. thanks for posting

What does this do?

Not bad but it's not one of the big ones, just a cut down version

My Daughter wants something like this, does anyone no if the attachments you get with this will be good for making cakes please.
Ive not got a clue

I didn't notice the exc VAT - sorry

I bought my wife the 281 for her birthday for a lot more than this and it is excellent. The only worry is that I thought that aside from the colour that the 281 was 900w and the 280 600w but looking at this it appears I am wrong. Our one came with juicer, blender and food processor attachments it is fantastic for £100i am tempted to buy another one just in case our one breaks very very hot.

Oh meant to say we have a small kitchen Ethernet design of this means it sits in the corner and takes up very little space if you are considering buying one do it ou ill not regret it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment... I'm still playing with the idea... I'm getting closer to the 'buy' button the more I look at it! I've a small Kitchen with little to no cupboard space.. what to do!!!

No worries.. yours is the cheapest I've come across.. Other sites seem to be at the £160 mark. Its a lot of money but not a lot at the same time.. know what I mean!

Ok my three year old made ginger biscuits with my wife with it, at the weekend I used the blender to make ketchup and BBQ sauce, this weekend I will make jam with it, we are making dough for bread and biscuits to freeze and take on holiday it's brilliant and yes takes up very little room we will be buying the mincer attachment next. Oh an it is good quality and very well made

My mum still uses her 30+ year old keyword chef and its as good as new.

For a ton it's a great investment

Just checked ours is the km288 and I paid £165 for it and still think it a bargain at that

I've had my prospero for about 18 months and feel its great, especially for a small family.

It's used weekly for everything from making freshly squeezed OJ to mixing cake mixtures. Highly recommended.

Great deal for sure - I got a Kenwood food Mixer over 18 years ago and its still going great & being used at least once a week:D

does anybody know whether this can be used with a spice mill?

anyone know if you can make chappati dough with this as my Bosch mum struggles the dough hook just isn't robust enough on it and I end up having to knead by hand towards the end. thanks in advance to whoever replies.

Trying to decide between this and the Bosch MUM46A1, what are your thoughts?

The Bosh machine has only a 550 watt motor which means its not as powerful as the Kenwood which has a 900watt motor. The higher the wattage, the more powerful the appliance.

Ordered. Thanks

Thank you so much! I was attracted by the grater attachments with the Bosch and the colour combination, as daft as that sounds. I can get a 5%discount through my Open University on Amazon and have a £10 topcashback voucher for amazon, so could get the bosch for £85

i have this too! purchased from sainsburys. I love mine its used at least once a week, I too am tempted to buy as a spare! voted hot! You wont get this cheaper elsewhere!

I want the chef which I see Sainsbury's also had at half price - only £50 more but sadly they have no stock.

If it comes with the blender and food processor go for it, I bought one from amazon a year ago for £149 . Definitely worth every penny, use alot.

Thanks OP, our very elderly Kenwood Chef is relegated to light duties only now so looking forward to using this to replace it after all those years. Hot!

Is it online only or can you get it in stores? I have a voucher for sainaburys but it can't be used online

On the Sainsbury's review page RedAngel states "it came with a liquidiser attachment; dough hook, K beater and balloon whisk.". I hope this helps.

If you aren't sure if it has everything you need, buy it anyway at this price!
Then if its not what you want take it back to store
