How do you eat them? I've never heard of these?

I would chuck them into something like a curry, but there's a variety of dishes that would benefit from a bit of almond.

I use them in milk. I heat milk, add almond ( sugar if required ). Boil it for few minutes. Good for children.

Whole Almonds cost £4.00 for 800g.

That's what I usually do, when making curry I add a couple of teaspoons gives the curry a nicer taste :-D

Loads of recipes call for these, especially cakes.

For instance, this one works well: deliaonline.com/rec…tml

Essential for christmas cakes as well. And now's the time to start cooking them, so good, timely deal.

Kormas I believe have a lot of ground almond in them.

Use them instead of flower in a christmas case for the ultimate luxurious cake

Primary ingredient of marzipan if you want to make your own. Marzipan on your Christmas cake if you are baking your own....

delicious if you add it to the flour in a crumble, to biscuits, to a curry sauce near the end, or milk and almond pudding, in a lemon polenta cake.....ooh theres so much...... cheers, will go a hunting for a couple of packs...
